  • Great studio!

"My husband and I love staying in Chelsea because it's away from the madness of Midtown yet easily accessible to the ACE subway line on 8th Ave (only two blocks away). Michael is a terrific host; he even brought us some homemade plum cobbler! The studio is exactly as pictured. It's light and airy and very private and quiet since it is at the back of the building. It's very well laid-out with everything one needs. Two great breakfast places are nearby--Sullivan Street Bakery and Trestle on Tenth. There's a new coffee shop across the street and Joe (I think of it as the East Coast Peet's) is a short five minute walk away. The Highline is close by and is a beautiful place to walk. We are already looking forward to our next visit. This space is head and shoulders above a cramped hotel room; one of the best HomeAway experiences we have ever had!"

  • Perfect apartment!

"This was my first time staying in the Upper East Side of Manhattan and it was perfect! The location is perfect: a few steps from the park, a few blocks from the subway, wonderful restaurants nearby. You can walk to the Plaza hotel, to the Frick Museum and to the MET. The bed is super comfortable (love the sheets!) and the kitchen has everything you need to whip up a breakfast or heat up leftovers from one of the many restaurants in the area. The owner was so very kind. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient NYC apartment."

  • Best place to stay period!!!!

"Loved the lobster ravioli and the meatball appetizer at CRISPIN's down on the corner of 52nd St and 10th Ave. We really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and the atmosphere. We felt completely safe and comfortable. THIS COUNTRY GIRL LOVES THE CITY!!!!!! Our most favorite host ever! It has been the best trip. We crammed so much into one long weekend. Our favorites were the 911 Memorial, the Empire State Building, top of the rock, broadway shows, water taxi, Little Italy, and MACY's. We will see you next year for sure! BEST hosts you could ever ask for. Highly recommend this apartment over any other."

  • Very nice & reasonable

"We were somewhat leery about staying in Harlem. However we felt comfortable in our surroundings. The apartment was exactly as described. There were 6 of us & plenty of room for all. Amal was quick to answer any questions we had before our arrival. & the first night, when we accidently locked ourselves in the back courtyard, one quick phone call...problem solved. Easy walk to bus lines & subway. I would recommend this town home to anyone looking for clean, reasonably priced, & safe accommodations. Kudos, Amal"
