  • Perfect Location and Loft!

"My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights on our 1st Anniversary Trip this Easter weekend. Cooper was extremely helpful in getting us in the loft, giving us recommendations on where to eat and what to do. Honestly you really don't have to leave a 4 block radius from this place if you don't want to as everything is right at your fingertips. The 6 line was on the 1 minute away to get uptown, very convenient. The loft is beautiful, and comfortable for 2 of us. The stairs can be a bit tiring after a full day of walking, but it's worth it. We will be coming back again."

  • Great hosts and townhome.

"Our experience at this cute little townhome was very nice. There were 4 of us and we all stayed very comfortably. This remodeled property was clean and very well-kept. We had absolutely no complaints about the townhome, with exception of a running toilet that we pointed out at the end of our stay, which certainly was no big deal. Tony immediately apologized and was going to have it taken care of ASAP. We didn't do much cooking (who spends time cooking when you are in New York?), but the kitchen had the things you need, which was all we cared about. Tony and Christine were awesome hosts and very responsive both before, during and after our arrival. There is a sweet small grocery store literally within a block, which was quite handy, and we did buy a few things we needed at the little "department" type store just across from the grocer. We flew into LaGuardia and took Uber (not a taxi). The travel time was about 20 minutes and cost us about $28 total. Not too shabby!! This was our first experience with the Uber app. If you have not used it, download the app before you get there. It's private people driving you around in lieu of high taxi fares. We used them 3 times while we were there to go to and from the airport, and one evening when we were too exhausted to do the subway to get home after a night a eating and drinking downtown. I do, however, have to point out that the neighborhood was a bit challenging for our tastes. We were safe and never felt threatened nor pan-handled, but we did have to walk to subways and buses through some very sketchy "activities" at times. The street the property is on was quiet for the most part, but Lexington Avenue had it's "moments." I would have to rate the neighborhood low. All in all, for the price, don't expect Manhattan...but this property was worth the stay. We experienced New York and all walks of life during our week there... and that was okay with us. Afterall, it's those interesting and colorful experiences that you remember most... right? We had plenty of fun and enjoyed our time. Thank you so much Tony & Christine."

  • Great location, but noisy apartment

"My friends and I spent two days and two nights at the UWS apartment. The location could not have been better. Walking distance from all of the places we were in town to visit. And in a wonderful neighborhood close to Central Park. That's the good. The not so good. The apartment is in the middle of a row of brownstones so there is not very much natural light. And while the kitchen has been beautifully updated the rest of the unit is lagging behind. The worse part of the stay was the lack of sleep due the noisy neighbors upstairs. While I understand that these are vacation rentals and it was the weekend I was willing to put up with a fair amount of disturbance up until midnight (and I relayed this to the landlord) however our lovely upstairs neighbors walked aka stomped around until 2 a.m, every night/morning even after I had express my concerns. Perhaps at the end of the day it was not their fault? The apartments are not well insulated so you can hear everything. The next day when we were checking out so were they. And it was a herd of them. Tons of kids and adults. Who was up until 2 am stopping around? I couldn't tell you. The kids looked to young to be up that late, and the adults looked too old... Anyway an other wise splendid trip was soured by the lack of a peaceful night(s) rest. I have stayed in VRBO before in NYC and have not run into this issue. Perhaps that's due to the fact that other renters were owners. These places seem to be solely for the use as rental units. Therefore why be concerned about noise if you don't live there? If you're looking for a great location and a good price and don't need to sleep this is the place for you. Other wise I'd say keep looking."

  • Great NYC location

"Had the opportunity to stay at this property with 4 others over a long weekend. The location was ideal with easy access to restaurants, stores and attractions. We were able to come and go as we pleased and felt safe and secure. Great price as well."
