"This gem of an apartment was just the perfect setting for a 60th birthday celebration. Warm and cozy with a private garden and full size kitchen, with a comfortable futon and a comfortable bed my guests slept on. I had friends and family coming and going to share my special day, and they loved the ambience, and sitting in the garden, sipping wine. The owner was very gracious and helpful. I would recommend this rental to couples and small families, close to the Museum of Natural History and in a lovely, quiet neighborhood."

"Tremendous location a 2-minute walk from the Met. Very clean and quiet, looking out over a backyard you don't expect on the upper east side.
There isn't a closet or armoir. We'd prefer having an armoir to some of the other furniture."

"Our family recently visited New York for our summer vacation. We stayed a full week. There were 4 of us (2 adults + 2 kids, ages 15 and 13). The apartment was absolutely perfect. It was extremely clean and the location was fantastic. Great access to a number of subway lines (we took a cab only once during our entire stay) and great access to everything else we could have wanted as well (grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, food, etc). The apartment was so well appointed. The decor is just lovely, and the pictures are 100% accurate. The apartment is very spacious by New York standards. Very comfortable for us. Great to have 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is wonderful. We loved having a nice big table for meals. Comfortable place to lounge before and after our daily activities. Building was nice & quiet...easy to sleep. Having a washer/dryer was great and we used a couple of times. Honestly, I cannot say enough about this unit. It provided a cozy, homey place for us while we visited NYC. I would absolutely rent this unit again, and I highly recommend it to anyone who may be considering it."

"Jessica is a great host. Good communication and check in was very simple...she was there to greet us with keys!
Nice, eclectic neighborhood that hasn't been over-run with Starbucks, Chipotle, etc. Didn't see a chain store or restaurant for many blocks!
Apartment is very clean! Living area is quite large for NY so, it was nice to hang out and relax there most of the time. The kitchen is nice too...small but everything within reach if you are inclined to cook (we didn't).
The only downside to the apartment, and this is more just a commonality of NYC, is that the bedroom and bathroom are VERY small. The bedroom fits, barely, the bed with only room at the foot of the bed to stand (so, you have to crawl into the bed from the foot of the bed). And the bathroom is very tight with little room to move around...and for sure only for one person at a time! My female companion had to adjust a bit in terms of blow drying hair, etc. but she did and it was fine.
Overall, I would certainly stay here again given how cool the neighborhood is and how much fun we had walking around and stuff. And host could not be an nicer, which is a huge plus!"
