"We were so lucky to find this gem of an apartment. Fabulous location, central but still very quiet at night. From the outset of booking we found the owners so helpful and full of advice(we had great fun trying to pay the deposit....I never thought it would be so difficult to part with money!!) Once we arrived the apartment was immaculately clean and just as advertised. We had a couple of small issues that Vera was super quick and efficient to resolve. The area is quiet yet has all the necessary facilities(pharmacies/supermarket/cafe/takeouts etc.). We walked quiet a bit with our baby stroller and having Central Park on our doorstep was a huge bonus. Everything that one would need for a city break is provided in the apartment,we had an amazing stay thank you so much Vera:)"

"This was our second rental of Peter's apartment and we have been delighted each time. While we have also stayed in the East Village many times, UWS is a great area. Lots of upscale bars and restaurants as well as plenty with local flair. (And they just opened a branch of the Meatball Shop a block and a half north! Mmmmm!!) You wouldn't even have to ride in a taxi or walk far and you could be fully entertained for many days in a NYC kind of way without leaving the UWS. But this place provides access to the entire city thru cab or Uber, and the subway is one block away. We leave about 25-30 minutes before shows start in midtown and arrive with plenty of time before curtain. This apartment is stocked with all the hardware you need for eat and drink. Blender, microwave, etc. Beds are very comfortable, as are the soft towels. Bathroom is a little tight, but it is NYC. Kitchen is huge and the living room a nice place to sit if you wish to catch up on a little tv with a beverage between outings. You do hear sound of the city, well, because you are in a city. But it really takes us one day and we're adjusted. Peter is a pleasure to work with....VERY accommodating! His communication is also superb. Looking forward to our next visit!"

"IF you are tired of paying top dollar for a very small closet in NYC- consider this loft. It's true New York. It's in a great neighborhood. It is not only roomy, it's just plain comfortable and good looking. A great deal for a weekend get away or a long term stay. Excellent upkeep. Sweet little NYC park right across the street. Two nice local eateries next door. Spring street subway stop one block. The stairs up are not for those who have trouble negotiating steep stairs. Other then that -outstanding."
