"This apartment is perfect for anyone wanting to be within walking distance of just about everything - shopping, restaurants, markets, delis, subway. The apartment is bright and spacious, chic decor (wonderful art work), super comfy bed, and great water pressure! The owner recommended some fabulous restaurants in the area and the doormen were friendly and extremely helpful. The apartment was a peaceful, restful place to come back to after a long day out and about. It felt like home. Thank you, Chris, for the wonderful accommodations. We'll be back!"

"Beautiful space, great character, elegant and functional, a charming retreat from the high energy of New York City when needed, but close to sights and sounds. Gorgeous Steinway Grand piano with a sound fit for Carnegie Hall will tempt any musician along for the trip. Jogging along the Hudson River just down the street, you can see the Statue of Liberty and the Freedom Tower. The townhouse is walking distance to the Subway or to Highline Park. It is located close to great bars and restaurants, many with historic significance (Olio e Piu, Malatesta, Cowgirl Cafe, The Stonewall Inn, White Horse Tavern), and stores (Joe Malone, Rag and Bone, Gourmet Garage). Great little thrift store at St. Luke's, too. But even in New York City, you might just want to stay home some time. There is a well appointed kitchen and lots of homey little spots to snuggle in. There are three large bedrooms, two and a half pretty bathrooms. Nesting might be preferred to sight-seeing sometimes. The Courtyard provides precious and comfortable outdoor space for morning coffee, evening cocktails or even dining. But most of all, your host is a total sweetheart. I will always remember this trip fondly."

"Very nicely decorated one bedroom apartment- loved the depth and relaxing atmosphere! The neighborhood was great! about 2 blocks from the lights, shopping and people of Times Square and one block from 9th avenue with quant, diverse restaurants for a relaxing, reasonably priced dinners. My husband and I had a great time filled with options all within walking distance.
Thanks Don for a great opportunity to rent your home. We will recommend this great place to our friends!"
