  • Nice Apartment, great location

"We stayed in this apartment for 10 nights and it was excellent. The location is great, away from the noise of Times Square but close to Central Park, Metropolitan Museum and many other attractions. There is a subway station nearby which we used everyday to get around, much faster than taxis and buses in all the traffic. The apartment was easy to find and Hara was there to meet us and gave us some good tips about New York. There was coffee and tea supplied and plenty of towels. There are also many great restaurants within walking distance, The Beach Cafe on the corner was very good. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and would definitely stay there again when we travel to New York."

  • Location, Location, Location

"This place is fantastic. Literally a block from Central Park; one street over from 5th Avenue. We literally walked everywhere (Museums, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Theatre District, etc.) We felt safe coming back from Radio City Music Hall at midnight. In my opinion, this was an ideal size for a couple. Plenty of room (closet space) and the kitchen saved us money by taking a quick walk over to the grocery store. My deposit was returned within a day. Melissa and Cecilia were both great to work with."

  • Lovely apartment in the upper east side

"This is a great apartment. My husband and I were visiting NY for the first time and loved it. Sue was helpful and reliable. The apartment was clean and a decent size. The area is lovely and quiet compared to the busy downtown area. The apartment is about a 12 min walk to the subway so be prepared for that. There is a lot of walking involved but it's Ny! Also there r loads of restaurants close by that we ate at a few times. If you have never been to New York I recommend getting the NY pass as its so convinient when it comes to site seeing. We also used max, sue suggested him for picking/dropping off from the airport and this worked out well. He sent his brother who spoke no English which was disappointing for us but other than that it was good. Highly recommend this place. Feels like your a true New Yorker living here instead of a tourist staying downtown!"

  • Just exactly what you are paying for!!

"This is a great apartment at a good price that has little or no touristic stuff at hand, but provides good access to the city via the subway and is easily reachable by cab later in the evening.... especially from anywhere on the east side. Apartment was fairly clean and well stocked with breakfast materials upon our arrival. The kitchen is well equipped and we chose to eat in a couple of times as there is a good supermarket and decent fish market nearby. We had a lovely time staying here, and recommend it to anyone a bot more adventurous who would prefer to spend their money on things others than expensive hotel rooms or apartments. Thanks to John & Rose for making the spot available."
