  • Cozy apartment for one or two

"This apartment is in a wonderful neighborhood and is very conveniently located on the first floor of the building. The neighborhood is very safe and there are so many really good restaurants and shops within close walking distance. The subway stop, the Museum of Natural History and Central Park are just a block away. The apartment has a well stocked kitchen for travelers who prefer to cook their own meals. The Murphy bed was comfortable and the apartment is very quiet. I was not disturbed by street noise. I would definitely stay again on my next trip to NY. Thanks Linda, for the great accommodations."

  • A jewel on the Upper West Side

"This apartment could not have been more conveniently located: one block from the subway, half a block from Central Park, nearby markets and restaurants, including Elizabeth's, which features sustainably grown, organic ingredients. The apartment is nicely furnished, very well maintained, and very pleasant. The owners, Vera and Joe, are very responsive, accommodating, and nice to deal with. We plan to return often. This will be our home away from home in New York City."

  • THE MOST FABULOUS RENTAL FOR LINCOLN CENTER AFFICIONADOS

"So are you an "Arts" person? Love opera, ballet, film, music, Lincoln Center? Do you love, love, love having a fabulous place to stay? Well if so, this rental is for you! My twin sister and I have been traveling together for years and only stay in luxury apartments near the venues we visit. This apartment meets every criteria. Abundance of taxis. Two blocks from Lincoln Center. Grocery store half a block away. 33rd floor apartment with spectacular views of Manhattan and the Hudson River and a balcony. Quiet. Upscale neighborhood. And easy rental experience from debonair and cultured owners. The apartment is spacious, elegant, well stocked and very comfortable. We've stayed here twice so far and consider this to be our "place to stay in NYC". Make it your place too. You will never regret staying here. Perfect in every way."

  • Convenient, immaculate, friendly and well equipped.

"What more could you ask for? After scouring the net, looking for a hotel for my mom and I during the Christmas season, I almost gave up as the prices were cost prohibitive, especially if you preferred not to share a bathroom! Then I remembered VRBO, and selected this unit based on the reviewes and the photos (which were accurate and true). We had a great stay. Ray is kind and considerate, returns calls promptly and was incredibly easy to work with. The apartment is actually quite large considering typical hotel and apartment sizes in NYC. The bedroom is far enough away from the sleeper sofa that I did not hear mom snoring :-) though street noises in the front of the house woke me (a light sleeper) earlier than I would have liked. The sleeper sofa is has a new mattress, comfortable but a little squeaky. The bedroom in the back of the house was quiet and extremely comfortable. Everything we needed, and more, was available. So nice to make coffee and relax in the morning. Huge grocery a couple of blocks away for all provisions. It was cold and rainy/snowy during our stay so the apartment provided a nice reprieve for cocoa and curling up with a book. We are native New Yorkers who have moved out of state, and mom is 78 and not as able to get around like she used to so we didn't need to be "out and about" every moment. The stairs, both approaching the front door and up to the second floor, were a bit tough for mom. Especially after walking from the subway (only 3 blocks away) and up the hill approaching the apartment. Something to keep in mind for older folks. Overall, this apartment is extremely nice, an excellent value and I would stay there again (on visits without mom.)"
