"We stayed for almost three weeks, and found everything we wanted to do easy to reach, by walking or the subway. We were surprised by how many different types of restaurants and shops were in the area. The apartment was fine for the two of us, very clean, and we appreciated the washer/ dryer, having so many towels, the kitchen (so that we could eat in if we chose), and the Wi fi for keeping in touch with family back home. As we arrived in a heat wave, the air conditioning was really needed. Vera sorted out a couple minor issues promptly. We would definitely stay here again if we return to NYC."

"Immaculately clean, spacious by NYC standards including huge kitchen, beds are comfortable, tastefully decorated and perfectly located for a great long weekend getaway. Owner is very responsive and super friendly. Close to Central Park, Upper West Side attractions and Metro is right around the corner. Highly recommend!"

"I used to live in New York and I've seen a lot of rental apartments. This apartment was very nice for a rental and had a great layout for our needs. It is not a luxury place and is up 3 flights of stairs but I was very happy with it. There was a nice large bedroom, the living room was in a separate room with a door, and there was a small dining area/entrance foyer. We were able to have our children sleeping in the living room but still have access to the rest of the apartment. The air conditioning worked well in both rooms, the WiFi was good (get the password from the modem in the bedroom) and everything was clean and well stocked. The only drawback was that the pull out couch was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Our elementary aged children were able to sleep on it but adults wouldn't want to.
The apartment is on a quiet street but close to 2 subway lines and the cross town bus so it is easy to get anywhere else in the city. Staying here can give you a great experience of what it is like to live in New York City."

"This is the first time staying in this apartment and we loved it. It is nicely decorated (photos are very accurate), very comfortable and quiet, clean, and has all of the conveniences anyone would need. The location, one subway stop from Lincoln Center, is excellent with restaurants, grocery stores, and bus/subway stops within close walking distance. After a long day of sightseeing the city, it's nice, and convenient, to come back to the apartment and rest with a glass of wine before going out to eat or preparing dinner (the kitchen is fully stocked). The owner responds promptly and is very helpful. We look forward to staying again."
