  • Perfect apartment and location

"We stayed for 27 nights with a week's break in the middle and it became like home. Location is excellent - close to subway, Central Park, Columbus Avenue (everything you need), downtown and cross town buses etc. The apartment is very quiet - no traffic noise. Heating, WiFi, beds and all amenities were excellent. Dov and his wife, Shula, were responsive and helpful eg offered to allow us to leave luggage in the apartment during the week's break. Apartment is very spacious and having the kitchen between the bedroom and bathroom allows some privacy. Daily rate was very reasonable. All round excellent and will stay there again if it is available whenever we visit NYC."

  • New Hork state of mind

"My wife and I spent two great nights and three days in this ideally situated apartment just off Broadway on the west side of New York city. The apartment was attractively appointed and meticulously clean and comfortable in all respects. Rarely have we stayed in an apartment or even hotel room that was so carefully prepared and maintained. Ray was extremely helpful from the moment we arrived, sitting down and providing a full overview of the unit, the neighborhood and the city. He had every right to be enormously proud of the accommodation he offers. Transportation was excellent, a Metro station only five minutes away and the 1 Train just happens to stop at every important, interesting location along the westside. Walking and the exploring the neighborhood proved interesting, especially, the area around City College, which offers a pleasant overlook looking east. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer and tap more deeply into the city's rich offerings and pleasures. We'll make it a point to return."

  • Very quiet and convenient NYC base

"Our first visit to NYC was made all the more memorable with our accommodation choice of Warren and Susan's apartment in the upper west side. The apartment is very well appointed with a wonderful atmosphere which captured the whole sense of belonging in our neighbourhood, where our hosts were very welcoming and provided us with excellent information during our stay. The location is very convenient to a number of subway lines which enabled us to explore the city with ease, and the proximity to Central Park and the wonderful Museum of Natural History were added bonuses. We would highly recomend this apartment to anyone looking to visit New York and hope to return one day. Thanks for a wonderful stay."

  • Amazing Treasure in the Upper West Side

"While my wife and I felt confident this was going to be a nice location to stay while on a short seven day vacation to NYC, this apartment (and the owners) exceeded our expectations. The apartment is beautifully decorated and uses the available space to create an inviting environment. The fully stocked immaculately clean, updated kitchen allowed us to have slow leisurely morning starts, breakfast and coffee at home (groceries from the local market) before setting out on the day’s adventure. My wife appreciated the attention to detail, plenty of towels, hangers, closet space, a dresser and shelves allowing us to fell like we’d moved into our own space without any clutter. Situated near Central Park and two subway stations, we were able to stroll the park or quickly get to our plays on Broadway. On evenings we wanted to stay close to ‘home’, thanks to Joe and Vera’s tips on the area, we dined at several excellent restaurants within a five minute walk. Hard to say enough about Joe and Vera. They certainly ensure their ‘guests’ have everything they need and checked in with us the first morning to make certain we had settled in. Our flight into Newark and ride to Manhattan had us arriving about Midnight. I emailed the owners about places we still might be able to find food that evening and when we landed they had already responded with several suggestions. We appreciated the extra effort on their part, never had such caring owners at any VRBO we have used in the past. If you are looking for a magical get-away in NYC, this is your place."
