"This house was great for adult 3 couples (can sleep 8) and was a short 5 minute walk to the subway. From the subway you are 2 stops to Grand Central Station and one more and you'll be at Times Square - the hub of NYC. The house was very comfortable - could not ask for anything more. We stayed 3 nights and the LaGuardia airport was about a 20 minute ($20-$25) cab fare to the house. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and a store to pick up a few groceries if you like. This place was clean, had an amazing kitchen and the stereo system was wired throughout the entire house for use in the evening while relaxing! Nice touch that the owners left a binder of all the local restaurants, cabs, some tour info ect. Great place, amazing LIC location with easy access to Manhattan and all the sights NYC has to offer. Thank you Brenda!"

"We were visiting NYC from Florida and wishing to stay in Whitestone as a reminiscence of living there many years ago. Our hostess, Grace, was lovely and gracious; her home was perfect for our family. The village of Whitestone has interesting restaurants and shops and easy access to subways for going into the city. The neighborhood was quiet and well kept. After a day of sightseeing we all looked forward to coming home and lounging on the deck overlooking the water. A great mix of being in NYC and its hustle and bustle then to Whitestone for complete relaxation."

"We had a group of 11 and the house had plenty of room for us. It's no Ritz Carleton, but it is a decent place to stay in a neighborhood that we felt safe walking around in. The train is a short walk and there is a great pizza place on the way. The house could use some tlc, like painting, but for the money, I would recommend it. The owner Mark is very easy to deal with. The kids loved the game room in the basement."
