  • Quite Nice Apartment

"A snug apartment. Very clean, lots of heat (and hot water), a fully stocked kitchen (toaster, blender, coffeemaker). Very close to transportation, dining and shopping. Though the weather was cold, we had a good stay in NY and look forward to our next visit."

  • Charming Chelsea Apartment ... All the amenities and a perfect location!

"We arrived in New York during a cold spell but warmed up quickly in this wonderful apartment. We loved every aspect of this place and loved coming home to it each day. Fantastic neighborhood ... grocery store, wine shop, flower shop ... all located within one block ... and subway access directly across the street. Great kitchen, lovely beds, super well maintained and clean!! A special thanks to Nancy, Andrew and Eva at Herrick Guest Suites for communicating with us throughout our stay. And, when our flights were cancelled due to icy weather, we were able to work with this fantastic team (with very little notice) to extend our stay for two additional nights. It was the perfect stay from start to finish!"

  • Excellent choice, excellent location!

"We spent 7 nights in this apartment and were so pleased with our choice of accommodations! The bedding and linens are lovely and the bed was so comfortable that we enjoyed excellent sleep. The apartment was very quiet, in fact, no noise to speak of, from either the outside or other tenants. The location is fantastic! We walked everywhere with ease: Empire State Building, Times Squares, Central Park, Broadway, the USS Intrepid, Broadway and the High Line. This is conveniently located to major subway stations such as Penn Station, and Grand Central, as well as Herald Square which we used most frequently. Miss K's Italian Eatery is very convenient for essentials like snacks and bottled water when you don't want to carry them very far. We found Wine 30 nearby and enjoyed a fabulous meal experience. It is certainly worth going to. We would say the same about Ben & Jack's Steakhouse, which was a great meal and reasonably priced. Both Wine 30 and Ben & Jacks are within a few minutes walking distance. The apartment kitchen is small but well appointed. The bathroom was clean and lovely and had perfect water pressure. The owners have put so much thought into what a guest would need (Thank you!). I would say if mobility is an issue the stairs might cause difficulty. Luckily my husband was able to manage the suitcases without issue. We really appreciated the fact that the apartment was located out of the 'hustle and bustle' of Times Square, returning each evening to a quiet neighbourhood. We found the area to be safe and had no issues with returning back to the apartment late at night. The photos well represent the space and furnishings."

  • West Village Palooza!

"Beautiful space, great character, elegant and functional, a charming retreat from the high energy of New York City when needed, but close to sights and sounds. Gorgeous Steinway Grand piano with a sound fit for Carnegie Hall will tempt any musician along for the trip. Jogging along the Hudson River just down the street, you can see the Statue of Liberty and the Freedom Tower. The townhouse is walking distance to the Subway or to Highline Park. It is located close to great bars and restaurants, many with historic significance (Olio e Piu, Malatesta, Cowgirl Cafe, The Stonewall Inn, White Horse Tavern), and stores (Joe Malone, Rag and Bone, Gourmet Garage). Great little thrift store at St. Luke's, too. But even in New York City, you might just want to stay home some time. There is a well appointed kitchen and lots of homey little spots to snuggle in. There are three large bedrooms, two and a half pretty bathrooms. Nesting might be preferred to sight-seeing sometimes. The Courtyard provides precious and comfortable outdoor space for morning coffee, evening cocktails or even dining. But most of all, your host is a total sweetheart. I will always remember this trip fondly."
