"We spent 4 days here and had a wonderful time. The view of the lake is fantastic, the cottage is comfortable and had everything we needed, the neighbors are friendly and Lori and her husband are terrific! We would definitely stay there again and look forward to another trip north!"

"We had a great time here. Property was ideal for kids and relaxation. House is well equipped with anything you could possibly need during your stay. We had a family of swans stop by for a visit. The kids loved going out and feeding them bread. We had a tree frog come down the chimney one morning and we got a real kick out of that experience. We took him and put him back outside. The neighbors are quiet and friendly. The only thing that kept me from giving the property 5 stars was how clean it was when we got there. The floors needed a thorough scrubbing and the place has cob webs and a lot of dusty corners. In all honesty, I'm a clean freak, so very few places I stay could live up to my expectations, but even my husband said something. I would also warn about the gnats this time of year. They were brutal at night. Keep the lights low and the doors closed unless you like cleaning up lots of little dead bugs every day. It's part of life on the lake. Try to make the best of it. The owner and her maintenance people are wonderful and I highly recommend this as a great vacation spot for a family with children. My kids were in heaven. The steps down into the lake were a real plus too. My kids loved swimming & playing in the lake and the large yard. We enjoyed nights by the fire pit and star gazing. The sunsets are gorgeous and so are the sunrises. Make sure you grocery shop before you settle in. The nearest grocery stores take a while to get to. There is a gas station/convenience store that sells beer near by, but it's expensive. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!"

"My family was looking for a place to celebrate my brothers 60th birthday. This was a perfect choice. Room enough for most of the family. We enjoyed the large dining room that allowed us all to enjoy dinner and then talk about the good old days. The elevator available was perfect for our father who struggles with stairs now that he is in his 80s. And the location was close enough for our nephews and nieces to make their daily walks and runs to the falls. The house is a beautiful hom from the very early 20th century."
