  • Left us good memories!

"Annual family reunion with grandparents and teenagers. An old house but surprisingly everyone found their way to enjoy. Never expect a board game can have so much fun. The dancing wii game made us go to buy one after back home. Relaxing in the pool with the wonderful view was unforgettable. Doggy friends are bonus, they were so friendly, wish can spend more time to play with them. Sunrise was so amazing while our stay. Location is very good to the state park. Drive-in movie was a bonus too. Kitchen need a better stir fry pan. And wish have a hair dryer there, we forgot to bring one. Oh, beds are so comfortable like home. This farm house is wonderful."

  • Is that really a LAKE??!!

"Just came back from the cottage. It is just as advertised, clean, comfortable and with that gorgeous body of water outside that still reminds me of the Pacific coast. We did have to call several times to get a refund of our deposit. If you are looking for a big market, try the TOPS market in Olcott which is a very cute little town.. When you are traveling to the falls, it takes an hour to get there depending on the route you take.We found Highway 14 to be the very best. If you follow it to the end you will be in a five dollar parking lot across from the Days Inn. From there you just walk about three small blocks and come to the bridge which takes you across to Canada. Much quicker than taking your car as the wait was at least an hour and a half by car. Once on Canada's side you can purchase an adventure pass which gives you access to the Maid of the Mist boat ride, which is certainly a must. Plus you get to walk under the falls, see a fantastic 4D movie, and than you go to the walkway on the side of the river to view the category 6 rapids. In addition, you can ride the WEGO bus for 48 consecutive hours and check out the immediate area.Cost about $46 bucks each and well worth it. We ate dinner overlooking the falls at Elements Falls View and the food was very good and the view outstanding.Just make sure you have two quarters with you when you cross back to the USA to put in the turnstile. Otherwise you'll be spending the nite in Canada!! We also toured the Erie canal in Locksport taking both the underground tour and passing thru the locks tour. Both were very informative and unique. In the town be sure to visit the First Presbyterian Church if you are a fan of Tiffany windows. They have about 20 there and even have narration radios to explain the artwork. You don't have to be religious to appreciate the beauty of these masterfully created pieces. If you want a taste of Hard Cider, try the Black Bird Cidery about one mile from the cottage. Very delicious. There were other wineries located close by, but we didn't have the time to visit. Enjoy your stay in this beautiful part of our country. We did."

  • Wonderful Family Getaway !

"What a great vacation home with everything you could possibly want. A beautiful waterfront view to enjoy the sunrise everyday. A wonderful pool, firepit on the river and a dock to fish. We found the location great for visiting Niagara Falls and Canada, and some great sights and restaurants. Glenn is a wonderful owner and is very helpful with places to eat, see and shop. We would highly recommend this vacation home we had such a wonderful time with our family."
