"Beautiful cottage located just a few steps to the river. Short driving distance to a lot of restaurants and shops to explore while visiting. The deck is so relaxing we enjoyed just sitting outside watching the boats go by. The house is inviting and comfortable, and even tho the renters are on the property you would never know they are there. It's nice to know if you have questions or emergency there are close by to answer questions! We will definitely be back with our families soon."

"My husband and I spent the first 4 days there and had a great time. It was a well needed get away, so relaxing everything you could need. The last 3 days were spent with my Mom and 3 sisters, girls weekend. There was everything my family was looking for. This is a keeper for our many return trips . No need to travel all over the state once you have found this cottage. Always something to see on the lake , and unreal sunsets!"

"Nice quiet location on Chippewa Bay. Just far enough from Alex. Bay to make it private but easy to get to for shopping and restaurants. Clean well kept cottage.Comfortable beds and living room furniture. Awesome deck and dock space, although not suitable for larger boats due to the water depth. Public boat launch 5 minutes away. Fishing of dock yielded large mouth bass, northern pike and lots of little perch and crappie. Safe boating and tubing in the bay, 15 minute boat ride to Singer Castle and fishing grounds. My two teenagers caught 3.5 and 4 lb. bass off Cedar Island, 10 minutes boat ride away. Great swimming at north end of Cedar Island at state park. No TV reception so bring your favorite DVD's. Several VCR tapes and DVD's at cottage. Decent Verizon and ATT cell service. Lots of wildlife sitings at cottage including many chipmunks, huge bullfrogs, lunes, cormorants, geese, and an owl.
Washer and dryer at cottage was a bonus."

"This cottage has extraordinary water views, and a front porch with comfortable furniture for enjoying those views. The area has lots to see and do, including its proximity to the Thousand Islands. Good restaurants within a reasonable distance. Ft. Drum is not far away if one is visiting family posted there. Inside the cottage, it is quaint and spacious. The fireplace with its gas insert was cozy and warm on cool September evenings. The place is well appointed in the kitchen, although we didn't do much cooking! The weather was wonderful. We had a very nice week"
