  • Outstanding Location!

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at the cottage Sept. 5-13. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We especially loved the private location. The views of the river and castle were beautiful. Rick was there when we arrived and made sure that we had his phone number to call anytime, 24/7. We did have to call him a couple of times and his response both times was quick and the issues resolved. We would definitely stay at the cottage again on our next visit to Alexandria Bay."

  • Great family vacation cottage

"Our family of 10, including 3 young children and one teen, so enjoyed our stay at Sis and Larry's cottage. Plenty of beds and the loft worked well. As we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to see a small wooden playground under a shade tree which was great for our grandchildren. The tennis court was a big hit with them as well as the beach a couple hundred feet away. On 90 degree days, we were so happy to have the central a/c and the grandkids enjoyed the DVD player built into the upstairs TV. Bring some DVDs, games and your bikes! Spring water was provided for drinking and the kitchen was small but pretty well equipped. The owners were very friendly and live nearby which is helpful. Fourth of July weekend brought lots of fireworks. Tops supermarket in Pulaski was very easy to find as well as a few other stores and fast food restaurants. Sandy Island State Park has a terrific beach on Lake Ontario and is a little tricky to find but well worth it. Some of the adults went white water rafting on the Salmon River with Adventure Calls Outfitters and had a blast but recommend checking other places that may offer helmets because people can fall off the raft and it is rocky and fast at times. The home was clean and very modern. There are 2 other smaller cottages on the property, which are not advertised, but might be nice if more than one family wants to stay. All in all, we would highly recommend Sis and Larry's cottage. They are very trusting and easy to work with. Thanks for a great vacation!"

  • Its Family Time!

"We have stayed in Thousand Islands a couple of times but this place was by far the best. First of all being right on the water like this was great, we have a boat so we fish everyday and with the peer, boathouse and kayaks it was so nice just to go out front and your there! We had a nice size group with 3 children and the young boys are missing the place already. We all had time to regroup and get back to the important things in family. Sure there were times when things got a little crazy with a large group but everyone in the end wasn't ready to leave yet so that's something I will remember when planning our next vacation. The house had everything it says it has and everything is taken care of well. It is very important to me that we vacation in a clean place and this house was that and it has a lot of little things that you may have forgotten at home. The owners were available to speak to and happy to assist me in any needs or questions I had. I would like to come to this house again and maybe stay longer this time!"
