"We enjoyed a quiet family vacation at this beautiful Victorian home. We had all the accommodations of home. We learned about the history of Round Island by walking down to the post office. Enjoyed their screened in porch. We shopped in Alex Bay and Clayton. The kids loved to venture the island as well as enjoyed all the outside toy. What a fun family vacation."

"This is our second year staying at this beautiful cottage. The view from the upper deck was just wonderful to wake up too. The secluded location gave us the feeling like we were on our own private island. Morning coffee as we sat on the dock watching the boats and loons was a wonderful break as a vacation should be. The sunshine, warm breezes and cool evenings made it difficult to leave! The cottage was clean, warm and inviting and full of everything we would need to make our stay comfortable. We took full advantage of the kayaks and outdoor grill, swimming off the dock and boating everywhere! This was an absolutely wonderful time! We would recommend this to anyone looking to getaway from it all yet close enough to Clayton and Alex bay for day trips and shopping.. Our adventures included Potters Beach, Lake of the Isles, fishing and sightseeing everywhere!
Thank you for sharing with us!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at this cottage. We were amazed at the activities for children. The playground was a 2 minute walk from the door to the left. The St. Lawrence River a 2 minute walk to the right. The family enjoyed jumping into the river from the dock at the Pavilion and also the small beach at the cove. Multiple activities are available a short drive away in Clayton or Alex Bay. The cottage was roomy, beds were comfortable and very clean. A delightful area and we loved the Victorian homes and small streets."

"Family of 5 plus an in-law. We had such a great time in the 1000 Islands, and this cottage is the culmination of "life on the river." The place forces you to relax and wind down. We were surprised by how many things we didn't need to bring with us because the cottage was so well equipped! View was spectacular. Bring binoculars or telescope if you have one...they come in handy not only for stargazing but also for zooming in on ships. One drawback is the number of spiders - the cottage is very clean but it's a cottage by the water after all so you're going to encounter them. Also, not recommended for toddlers because of the steep staircase that leads down to the water. Great for kids 5 and older though."
