"The cottage was amazing. A beautiful spot on the St. Lawrence. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to use the well equipped upscale kitchen as we were busy with a family event at another camp. I would've loved to use the spacious open air kitchen. I have been recommending this rental for all of my friends that can not house the extra visitors that we have during the summer. Mrs. Barbour was at the camp next to the cottage and was very helpful and considerate of our privacy. Nicole Barbour, the landlord, was easy to work with and answered all my questions and concerns.
A great spot in a beautiful setting.

"This is our second year staying at this beautiful cottage. The view from the upper deck was just wonderful to wake up too. The secluded location gave us the feeling like we were on our own private island. Morning coffee as we sat on the dock watching the boats and loons was a wonderful break as a vacation should be. The sunshine, warm breezes and cool evenings made it difficult to leave! The cottage was clean, warm and inviting and full of everything we would need to make our stay comfortable. We took full advantage of the kayaks and outdoor grill, swimming off the dock and boating everywhere! This was an absolutely wonderful time! We would recommend this to anyone looking to getaway from it all yet close enough to Clayton and Alex bay for day trips and shopping.. Our adventures included Potters Beach, Lake of the Isles, fishing and sightseeing everywhere!
Thank you for sharing with us!"

"A wonderful place to stay. I rented this cottage twice (two separate 7+ day stays in Aug & Sep 2015) while working in Jefferson County and am glad that I did. With a great view of the water and wonderful sunrises, the cottage is in a quiet location, it was clean and comfortable; everything that I needed. When staying for more than a few days, a place such as this is 1,000 times better than staying in any hotel (no matter how many stars).
The owners was polite, courteous and timely with communications; great people. The next time that I am in the area, I will be seeking to rent this cottage again."

"Only the ice machine was not able to keep up with our vacation enjoyment at Bartlett Point. We've spent 19 yrs on "The River" and this was the best land spot we have had. Probably tied for #1 all time with the island property we moved from last year. (Islands are great but . . . its an island.) Super duper kitchen, great BRs for 6 or 8. OK for up to 12, esp with teenage or under kids. George was very responsive with our few requests for assistance.
When the Blue Moon yacht shows up to dock for several days just a 1/4 mile away, you know you're in the right place. And this is the right house for Clayton-based, 1,000 Island vacations!
Four stars is good! In-house staff have to be included to consider 5 stars."
