"What a great place for a Family reunion and Golden Anniversary celebration. We had the whole 1880 House to ourselves with our 18 people. (Could have slept at least 10 more--lots of beds!!) The grandkids enjoyed the "man cave" in the lower level, for games and TV. They also were able to work the stairs to the top floor for sleeping. All utensils ever needed were available and the kitchen and outdoor grill and refrigerator were great for cooking when we wanted to. Only drawback was that not all bedrooms have air conditioning/good outside air circulation, so a couple evenings were a little warm, but that was no real problem. Plenty of parking and the view from the various rooms and balconies were fantastic. Lots to do in Pulaski, but the most fun as expressed by grandkids was the whitewater rafting down the Salmon River.
Had a great time and the weather was perfect."

"Words cannot describe my great feeling of having arrived when we docked at Friendly Island. The island's gracious owner who rents her glorious place to allow others to share and experience pure joy and solitude whille breathing deeply and loving all the amenities fit for a king or queen, as they say. I loved relaxing, barbequing, swimming and having fun offering the "Queen's Wave" to the touring boat passengers and one night, listening to a rich, baritone voice singing Irish ditties, wafting over from Alexandria Bay. There was always a cool breeze at night and my stay here on Friendly Island has given me an experience with only positive vibes remaining and which I will cherish for the rest of my life.
Thank you, Ellen for making Friendly Island not just a label but a reality. We appreciated all the labour and love that went into the creation of your island for all four seasons to boot."

"We have stayed in Thousand Islands a couple of times but this place was by far the best. First of all being right on the water like this was great, we have a boat so we fish everyday and with the peer, boathouse and kayaks it was so nice just to go out front and your there!
We had a nice size group with 3 children and the young boys are missing the place already. We all had time to regroup and get back to the important things in life...like family. Sure there were times when things got a little crazy with a large group but everyone in the end wasn't ready to leave yet so that's something I will remember when planning our next vacation.
The house had everything it says it has and everything is taken care of well. It is very important to me that we vacation in a clean place and this house was that and it has a lot of little things that you may have forgotten at home. The owners were available to speak to and happy to assist me in any needs or questions I had.
I would like to come to this house again and maybe stay longer this time!"

"This is a very nice family unit, Allison is great we had a small issue and it was taken care of immediately. She also rents boats which is great you can get it all done at once. It was hot this week but looking over the deck at the fish swimming below makes you feel cooler. Gas grille for cooking out this unit has it all in a very nice area of the thousand islands. Will definitely stay here again."
