"This was a great place to stay. The house is beautiful, and just the perfect size for the three of us. Sitting outside on the deck was very peaceful and my wife and I looked forward to it every night. We enjoyed the boathouse a few times and my daughter loved catching a fish. The location is a short walk to town but enough away to be very peaceful and quiet. Linda was very helpful, and even offered to have a neighbor bring us something we couldn't find right away- it was unnecessary as we eventually found it, but we appreciated the offer very much. We had a great week, very much enjoyed staying at this townhouse, and would definitely recommend it."

"The cottage was amazing. A beautiful spot on the St. Lawrence. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to use the well equipped upscale kitchen as we were busy with a family event at another camp. I would've loved to use the spacious open air kitchen. I have been recommending this rental for all of my friends that can not house the extra visitors that we have during the summer. Mrs. Barbour was at the camp next to the cottage and was very helpful and considerate of our privacy. Nicole Barbour, the landlord, was easy to work with and answered all my questions and concerns.
A great spot in a beautiful setting.

"Me and my brothers rented the house for a family reunion and it worked out wonderfully! Being so close to the lake provided plenty to do during the day and many wonderful sunsets. The patio was a good gathering place with the fireplace and the grill during the evenings. The older kids had a great time playing tennis in the afternoons and fishing along the river. Very quiet in the evenings and the owners lived near by and checked in with us during the stay too make sure all was well, they even reloaded our firewood!! The house had a good internet connection for getting news information from the outside world. The grocery store in town was 24 hours for those late night runs for marshmallows. If your group is larger you may want to check on the other houses on the property for rents as they are all close by. Selkirk and Sandy Island State parks are close by for use, fishing canoeing and swimming. 5 to 10 minutes from the Salmon River for the sport fisherman in the fall."

"This is our second year staying at this beautiful cottage. The view from the upper deck was just wonderful to wake up too. The secluded location gave us the feeling like we were on our own private island. Morning coffee as we sat on the dock watching the boats and loons was a wonderful break as a vacation should be. The sunshine, warm breezes and cool evenings made it difficult to leave! The cottage was clean, warm and inviting and full of everything we would need to make our stay comfortable. We took full advantage of the kayaks and outdoor grill, swimming off the dock and boating everywhere! This was an absolutely wonderful time! We would recommend this to anyone looking to getaway from it all yet close enough to Clayton and Alex bay for day trips and shopping.. Our adventures included Potters Beach, Lake of the Isles, fishing and sightseeing everywhere!
Thank you for sharing with us!"
