"We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at this cottage. We were amazed at the activities for children. The playground was a 2 minute walk from the door to the left. The St. Lawrence River a 2 minute walk to the right. The family enjoyed jumping into the river from the dock at the Pavilion and also the small beach at the cove. Multiple activities are available a short drive away in Clayton or Alex Bay. The cottage was roomy, beds were comfortable and very clean. A delightful area and we loved the Victorian homes and small streets."

"We had a wonderful week at the Whispering Waters Cabin. Beautiful sunrises over the Oswegotchie River, and the sound of the water running over the rocks offer the perfect opportunity to forget about life for awhile. Jeanice and Ted are very personable, and have really done a nice job with this cabin. The view from the master bedroom is fantastic, and there is much to do within a short drive, or even a short walk. The cabin has 3 TV'S, and a comprehensive selection of DVD'S, an outside hot tub, a pool, fire pit, canoe, a large bathtub that fits two inside, and the refrigerator is stocked with enough food to get your vacation started without having to run to the store. Jeanice and Ted are great neighbors, and can advise you on any of a number of things to see, and places to go. Ted even let me borrow his St. Lawrence skiff, which was a lot of fun, but you need a trailer hitch. Finally, I just wanted to mention that if you ever wondered where all the "nice folks" went, I can say with a reasonable degree of confidence that a large portion of them currently reside in St. Lawrence County. Everybody we met was awesome!"

"We have vacationed on Sandy Pond/Lake Ontario for 40 years. This hideaway is by far the BEST!!! We will look no further. Toni and Tom have supplied everything needed and then some. Sandy Pond and the lake take care of the rest. Fishing --superb, Sunrise/Sunsets -heavenly..and the beach glass -sublime. What more could you ask for? Can't wait to come back!!
Mac and Liz:)"

"We enjoyed a quiet family vacation at this beautiful Victorian home. We had all the accommodations of home. We learned about the history of Round Island by walking down to the post office. Enjoyed their screened in porch. We shopped in Alex Bay and Clayton. The kids loved to venture the island as well as enjoyed all the outside toy. What a fun family vacation."
