  • A few things different but still the same fantastic experience

"Well, I took a few buddies up to stay at the cabin. To quote my one buddy, "Man, we are really moving up in the world". I suppose the context around this comment was that the previous cabins we stayed at were not quite as nice. In fact not even close. He too said the same thing I did last year. This cabin is the type of place you can bring the family/wife to and not feel like you are roughing it which is saying something. Although there were some slight changes overall I was very pleased. The furnace was not functioning but they made sure the cabin stayed warm and comfortable. I certainly plan to reach out to the owners again next year. Thank you..."

  • Very well appointed boathouse

"This is a very nice family unit, Allison is great we had a small issue and it was taken care of immediately. She also rents boats which is great you can get it all done at once. It was hot this week but looking over the deck at the fish swimming below makes you feel cooler. Gas grille for cooking out this unit has it all in a very nice area of the thousand islands. Will definitely stay here again."

  • A Wonderful Week on the St. Lawrence River

"We rented the Muskie Lodge along with the other 4 lodges on the property at the Lodges at Oak Point for a family reunion. The ages ranged from 3 to 87 and everyone had a fantastic time. Although we did some touring, the trip highlights were the times we spend enjoying the waterfront. The river was perfect for swimming and we rented boats to fish, tube, and just cruise around exploring. The Muskie Lodge is spacious and allowed us to congregate inside for games and meal preparation. We gathered at the picnic tables on the lawn in the evening for dinner and several nights made s 'mores in the fire pit by the river. We've been holding these reunions every other year since the early 70's and we really appreciated the well-stocked and organized accommodations and the kindness of one of the owners, Lisa, who was always responsive and patiently answered a lot of questions. It was a FANTASTIC week! I would highly recommend the Lodges at Oak Point!"

  • Laid back vacation

"The cottage is exactly as pictured! Comfortable and adequate. Be sure to bring your camera as you will want to capture the breathtaking sunsets over the water. The fishing was great when we were there , drop your line get a fish, drop your line get a fish! The canoe was perfect early morning and at sunset when the water was like glass. Best yet is my family learned they can survive without TV! We enjoyed the wildlife that was all around. The boathouse and dock made the perfect gathering spot for my family. We would love to come back. Owners very helpful!"
