  • Outstanding Family Vacation

"After many employment years in the hospitality industry, I can honestly say the guest satisfaction of my family was a "10"(out of 10). Owners Martha and Scott have a true Gem here. Being only 100 miles from our home town in Clarence, we were so amazed that this paradise could exist. Our two boys(15 and 8) had one of the best times on a vacation in recent memory. Fishing, camping, kayaking, motor boating, hot tub, Fishing, rock collecting and swimming have made this trip not one to forget. Our family of 4 really had an opportunity to re-connect. We didn't allow them any electronics while on the trip(the best thing we ever did) and we all focused on outdoor things. I caught a 16"(8 pound bass)-never cleaned a fish before in my life, but afterwards we cooked it and all agreed it was the best tasting fish we had ever had.(even more so than fresh sea bass that we pay $26.00 a pound for). The propry is as advertised with no surprises. The only negative would be of the old mattresses (clean..but not comfortable) but it is camping and it certainly beat a sleeping bag with an air mattress. Scott and Martha thank you so much for a trip that we will remember for a long time. We are already thinking about a trip for next summer, but hoprfully longer than just the weekend we stayed."

  • You could ask nothing better!!

"I highly recommend this property. You will experience the best location and the best hospitality!! Fortunately, I had a chance to meet landlord family on my business trip to NYC before my Christmas holidays that I was planned to take my family. The family were very kind, not only show the property but guided me their neighborhood until late evening. Before I rent the property, we became just like an old friend through exchanging of emails with topics of our families. For your information, 1) Location: Perfect!! Just 5 minutes walk from Columbus station which is a hub of subway access everywhere you want to go. They have pharmacy and glossary stores in the next block, wonderful food market in the Time Warner building as well. So many restaurants hesitate to choose. The Lincoln Center located nest block, we enjoyed New York Philharmonic year-end concert just walked few minutes! 2) Property: High rise apartment with 24 hours doorman and concierge, clean, well furnished and you may find their hospitality everywhere such as sophisticated amenities and welcome drinks and snacks with warm letter. In conclusion, you can hardly ask for more than this for your great stay in NYC!!

  • wonderful getaway

"My husband and I rented this cottage to be able to spend time with our children and grandkids from Tennessee who were staying in the Saratoga area. We wanted a place where we could have room to entertain with lots to keep 5 kids aged 7 to 18 busy and this was perfect!!! There was everything there to keep them busy from canoes, a paddle boat and a rowboat for fishing-even the fishing poles!!! We had such a great time, we called and asked to stay longer!! It was very clean, well furnished and the kitchen was equipped with anything you might need. How scenic and peaceful it was to be up with the loons and eagles, sitting on the deck with coffee in the morning!! I would gladly (and already have) recommended the lake house to anyone who would like to visit the area, and when the kids return next year, this will be our first choice!!"
