  • Love this place!

"With our youngest son coming home from Germany on leave from the Army, He asked if we could go to the mountains for a few days. We were so pleased to find such a great mountain condo close to everything we all love about this area in the spring and after a long day of hiking, site seeing or shopping, it was good to be able to relax in the hot tub or sauna or just sit by the heated pool and if you didn't enough exercise, you can hit the exercise equipment. There is something for everyone. The view was spectacular, the amenities too numerous to mention, the staff courteous and security was impressive. No matter if we came in late or went out early, there was always someone there to greet us and make us feel we were in good hands. There is no doubt that we will be back! Thanks again for being a pleasure to work with and making our mountain getaway a great one with wonderful memories!"

  • Very nice

"The cabin was very clean with a big yard, somewhat secluded and close to downtown Banner Elk."

  • Birthday get-away

"House was great! Clean and everything we needed waiting for us. Beautiful views from the panoramic back sunroom. Accommodates plenty of people. 8 miles from Sugar Mountain. Convenience shopping very close by. Managers were great to deal with. Just a note that the road is an extreme winding road headed up to the house, so if you are going in bad weather be sure to have the proper vehicle. Also, the upstairs bedroom is actually more of a loft. There is a wall to separate it from below, but no formal door. Wasn't an issue for us, but if you are expecting total privacy you will only get that out of 2 bedrooms. Will definitely stay again, and recommend to other friends headed up."

  • Remote and beautiful

"House is gorgeous and views are incredible. 4-wheel drive definitely recommended for the access road, even in summer, but the effort is worth it. Kitchen was well stocked and entire house was very clean with high-end furnishings. We stayed with 4 adults and 5 young kids; there was plenty of room for all but you might want to consider bringing an air mattress for extra sleeping options. Owners were super friendly and responsive."
