Great Weekend, Great Place!
"A quick weekend getaway with 4 kids! Excellent place with plenty of room for everyone and an excellent view looking towards TN. Will most likely try and stay at this same cabin in the future if we go back to Beech Mountain. The only recommendation would be to have a less formal dining room table. Other than that, excellent all the way around."

"This condo worked out perfect for 2 families looking to spend time together and go skiing. It was spacious enough that everyone had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies which was great for us as we enjoyed cooking and eating together. The short drive to the ski slope was great for early morning skiing. We did have a few challenges while we were there (the water was out upon arrival and the washing machine wasn't working) - but the property manager (Stacey) was extremely helpful and made sure that things were taken care of. If we are in the Beech Mountain area again we would definitely stay at a Place to Unwind again."

"The cabin was everything it said it was and then some. It is small and quaint, but this is what makes it great for a romantic getaway. We had the pleasure of getting some light snow during our stay which added to the cabin picturesque setting. I do suggest if you stay during the winter months, drive a four wheel drive vehicle so that you can get up the driveway."
