Wonderful house on top of mountain with gorgeous views all around!”
"This home is just incredible - everything...decor, grounds, outdoor living areas! The skies opened up with gorgeous panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valley below. I enjoy the peaceful serenity of the amazing sunsets while sitting around the fire pit with family. I've had several opportunities to visit and have enjoyed it every time. It is gorgeous, spacious, and comfortable. The back porch is perfect for relaxing with your morning coffee while enjoying the peace and quiet or hanging out with family while grilling dinner in the evening. The kitchen is fully equipped and the fireplace is amazing. It’s perfectly located just a few miles from Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, and tons of hiking trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is quite obvious that the owner loves this place as it is perfectly maintained and decorated. I am definitely looking forward to a return trip"

"The ski and tea chalet was the perfect place for a girls getaway! It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. There were extra touches like games and puzzles in the hall closet and a bin full of brochures for local attractions. It was secluded enough (off a gravel road) but not too secluded. We were able to run to the grocery store for supplies. As a bonus, we were also able to see lots of deer. We probably spotted at least 10-12. I highly recommend renting this cottage. I would definitely rent it again!"

"Despite being rained on for four straight days and being engulfed in clouds and mist, our stay was very nice. This was the same storm that wreaked havoc on South Carolina so we can't whine too much since being in the higher elevations likely added a layer of protection for us.
The cabin was everything we expected and the previous reviews are echoed by our experiences. It was very clean (number one priority), very warm and comfortable, and had all the amenities of home. We had five people in our group and between the two floors, we had more than enough space to relax and find privacy within its confines.
The only challenge really was driving to and from the cabin into Banner Elk and Boone. There are roads and other cabins all over the place and it's very confusing at first. But after the first day we utilized our phone GPS and a few landmarks, and by the last day didn't need them at all. In fact this is the kind of place that's somewhat fun to get lost in. So much new vegetation and white-tail deer and really cool homes and cabins and awesome landscaping.
The area in and around Beech Mountain is worth the stay itself, however the App Trail and other well know sites can keep you busy for weeks if you had the time. Anyway this place is highly recommended from our standpoint and we would not hesitate to stay again if we have the chance. The owners easy to work with and upfront and honest. Nice to work with people who care about your needs as a guest and are concerned with your comfort and experience. Thanks again to our hosts, really appreciate the hospitality from ol' Wyoming."

"It was a foggy night and had some trouble getting to the house only because of low visibility but once we were there, all was as expected. Fireplace was not working and couldn't get the pilot light to go so gave up on that feature but no big deal for us. Overall loved the house and distance to Oz Run, which is my favorite trail at Beech Mrn. Thanks and looking forward to staying there again some day soon.
