Cozy and comfortable
"The ski and tea chalet was the perfect place for a girls getaway! It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. There were extra touches like games and puzzles in the hall closet and a bin full of brochures for local attractions. It was secluded enough (off a gravel road) but not too secluded. We were able to run to the grocery store for supplies. As a bonus, we were also able to see lots of deer. We probably spotted at least 10-12. I highly recommend renting this cottage. I would definitely rent it again!"

"We arrived at the Cedar Beech House on a Thursday. The house was very clean and large. Two bedrooms up and two down. Living room upstairs, and a family room downstairs. Every bedroom has it's own large bathroom. There was a master bedroom on the main floor across from the kitchen. Very good for those with mobility issues. The house is in a neighborhood right across the street from the entrance of Beech Mountain ski resort. My friend and I walked to the cafeteria at the ski resort. About 15-20 min walk, uphill, but not too bad. The house has a hot tub which worked fine. It snowed twice while we were there, and the house stayed warm and dry. We didn't even need the fireplace! The only small issue is that there is only parking for two cars...not an issue for us, since that's all we had. Really great time at the house, and our family skied a lot! Beautiful, large house!"

"A group of friends, four couples in all, decided we needed an affordable weekend getaway for some relaxation. It happened to be a very foggy weekend which made the weekend even more perfect. We stayed in and cooked, played games and relaxed in the hot tub all weekend. The house was perfect we all had our own very private rooms. Everything was very clean and convientient to our needs. There was a wonderful game room, with a tv and bar area. Exactly what we needed. Thank you Peters House of Wood."

"I loved the pictures of this cabin, but seeing it in person was way better than I could have imagined. I could have sat outside all day, in the chairs, drinking coffee, but we were there to visit Tweetsie. :) I wish we could have stayed a couple more nights. We definitely took advantage of sitting in the hot tub and looking at the view. The kitchen was great, it has everything you could need. My family had the best time, making smores at the fire pit and running around the amazing porch. I could go on and on. After posting some pics of the view from the cabin on Facebook, everyone has asked me where it is, they cant wait to go visit. The owners had a coffee mug with a picture of the cabin on it and a little thing of coffee, waiting for us on the counter, when we got there. I just thought that was the nicest touch and it is my FAVORITE mug to drink out of now. We will definitely be back next year."
