"We cannot say enough about this cabin! Our family of 7 spent a fantastic week here and we didn't want to leave. The pictures do not begin to do justice to just how incredible this location is. The views are amazing, the river is just awesome, and the house is incredible. The house is perfect for a large group with plenty of room, comfortable furniture, and did I mention the views? the village of Chimney rock is quaint and fun, we rented a boat and spent a day on Lake Lure, we hiked in Chimney Rock State Park, and we fished, climbed and played in and around the river. Everything is there - you feel secluded, but you are right in the middle of everything that you need. Book this cabin. You won't be disappointed. We can't wait to get back for another extended stay."

"The cabin was all we expected and had hoped for. Everything we needed was there. The river was a magnet for the morning coffee drinking and the afternoon adult beverage! The TV and the radio were there, but we never used them, we spent those pleasant evenings on the side porch listening to the river and chattering away about the day we had and the day we were going to have tomorrow. We had great evening meals at La Strada and Larkins on the lake and several good breakfasts at Medina's! All in all, a great trip and we are making our plans for another visit in the fall!"

"My family and I stayed at this cabin for 3 nights, and we had a blast! The cabin was very clean, and had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, and the driveway wasn't too difficult to drive on. VERY close to Chimney Rock park, and only around 40/45 minutes to Asheville. Minimal cell reception (Verizon) which was a blessing, and the wifi allowed us to still connect with others when needed. Cable was also nice to have, but it's not needed when you're visiting such a lovely place.
Our favorite part was the view from the porch! Our two children (ages 3 and 2) had a blast hanging out outside and watching the river flow, and mom and dad also enjoyed the relaxing view and sounds. We only wish the weather was a little warmer so that we could have swam in the river! :) No mountain view, but the river more than makes up for it.
We loved this cabin, and plan to return in a few months."

"My wife and I stayed here for our 1st year anniversary. We wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful, yet with attractions around. The house is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained! There are numerous activities to do and plenty of games. We were excited to see a piano downstairs. My wife can play the piano..only problem is the piano needs a major tuning ( quite a few keys didn't work right or at all). But otherwise we were impressed with everything. Blackberries were in season while we were there too so we picked our share! We also loved getting up early to see sunrises.the upstairs deck is a great place to sit and relax possibly read a book or so... Only other thing I think is in line to mention is be prepared to climb high up in the mountain with your vehicle to reach this amazing place at the top! You will want to make sure your vehicle is prepared for such climbing..otherwise enjoy..we will definitely be coming again we sure hope :)"
