  • Mountaintop Getaway with Sunset Views

"My wife and I spent the last Thanksgiving Holyday (2013) at the 'Mountaintop Getaway with Sunset Views' cabin, and we enjoy a lot our stay. The location of the cabin is very convenient, especially for hikers like us, since it is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. In addition, it has an easy access, and despite it is close to other cabins, it is also separated enough from them so one can enjoy tranquility and privacy with no trouble. The cabin per se is very nice and well-maintained. And it is very well equipped with all types of kitchenware and dinnerware. We were especially delighted with its cleanliness. In addition, the owners were easy to contact by e-mail at any moment and provided detailed and clear information about how to reach the cabin, and the conditions of the stay. We have no complains."

  • Fantastic home!!!

"A curvy slow road to the house, but well worth the drive. The house was amazing from the drive up. All appliances were easy to use. Entertainment system was easy to figure out. The owner is very easy to reach if any questions or problems. We used the house for my wife's birthday and was a great central location between TN, VA, NC for fam and friends to meet. I would highly suggest not using GPS once your on 421 and use the written instructions that starts from the Hardee's. My family is considering using this house again for a reunion around a holiday if available."

  • Beautiful house with an awesome view!!!

"The house is has a great layout with lots of space for kids. There is even a ping pong table downstairs. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the kitchen didn't have large pots or crockpot or pan which made cooking for a large group difficult and we had to buy a stockpot. If I had know I could have brought some things from home. But I would DEFINITELY rent here again."

All this within 10 minutes of both Blowing Rock and Boone! We especially enjoyed wildlife viewing while on the property. Joy and Charlie are the perfect hosts and strive to make your stay memorable and comfortable. We are sure to rent again."
