"Exceptionally clean and well decorated rental. Our family of 5 and my 2 parents stayed. Well equipped kitchen, beds were comfortable. Loved sitting on the front porch for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Wasn't sure at first about location but it is actually very well situated for exploring all of the Ashville area. There is so much to see and do there. Our family had a blast and wish we could have stayed a few more days. Enjoyed the peaceful, quiet and relaxing feeling of being in the mountains yet still close to town for groceries etc. Thanks for offering such a clean and well furnished home. We highly recommend this property."

"We were two married couples visiting Asheville for the first time and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. The house is just as described and Janet is a wonderful host. Biltmore, downtown Asheville and Sierra Nevada Brewery are all within 30 minutes of the house but you feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere. Also, be sure to make the hike up to Buzzard's Roost!"

"Our family (two adults, three kids - 8, 11, and 13) spent one week in at Charmed Cottage. It is true to its name - so charming, unique, and cozy. Our week was a mixture of relaxing "cottage time" - just taking in the views and solitude -- as well as touring the areas in and around Asheville. We visited the Biltmore Estate, hiked at Chimney Rock, spent the day in Asheville, went white water rafting on the French Broad River, and hiked to the amazing Catawba Falls. We loved relaxing in the hot tub at the end of a busy day of sightseeing/hiking.
The cabin is remote so don't expect to just pop out to the store in 5 minutes. However, with proper grocery planning it's easy to deal with the distance. The road up to the cabin is steep but we didn't have any problems with it as we have a 4WD.
The owner, Brea, was extremely responsive and helpful, and has thought of every detail in the house."
