  • Great Fall Weekend with Beautiful Views

"We brought our daughter and grandchildren for a weekend of fall fun and really enjoyed the property. The views are spectacular and we all loved the "adventure" of the drive up to the house-especially fording the two creeks on the way. Even though there were bridges to cross the creeks, we all loved crossing the creeks in our Jeep. The house was beautiful and up to date with everything clean and in order. Our grandkids were thrilled to sleep in a bunk bed and were amazed at the huge log beams and how the house was built. My only suggestion would be to pack extra towels as we only had 2 washcloths and just enough towels to go around. I did also pack paper towels and toilet paper and was glad I did. We will definitely come back here again--great property and so close to Blowing Rock and Boone."

  • Wonderful Long Weekend!

"We came to stay for a long weekend and had a great time! My kids are ages 4 and 7. We brought a portable DVD play and our Wii. Kitchen had everything we needed. Sheets on the bed were high quality and the condo is very comfortable. We will definitely be back next January when our kids are tracked out of school again! Very close to Hawksnest and not far from town."
