  • Great Cabin

"We loved staying at the cabin. It is beautifully furnished, well kept with everything you need. Just a few miles from Rumbling Bald Resort if you want to rent SUPboards, kayaks, pontoon boat, etc and then you can hang out at the beach. Or if you prefer the community beach, you can drive just a few more miles for the public beach with slides. It is very close to Chimney Rock Resort and within an hour to Asheville. Lovely home to spend quality time with your family! The ONLY complaint is the sleeper sofa downstairs is nothing but springs so it was not comfortable at all for sleeping. I would definitely stay again and recommend this home for any getaway."

  • Gorgeous Lakeview Escape!!!

"My husband and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary at the Honeymoon Cottage and loved absolutely everything about it! The cozy sofa and chair were great for relaxing by the fireplace. We cracked the windows to listen to the birds while enjoying a stunning view of the lake. Larkins and La Strada were great for dinner (also lakeside), but the deck of the boathouse was perfect for a cocktail before heading out. Again, INCREDIBLE view!!! The hot tub was very easy to operate and we were lucky enough to have a full moon, making the lake even more gorgeous. Mary Potter was great to work with and gave very detailed instructions for finding the property and operating everything. Kitchen was fully stocked, Ingles grocery store is very close and the bathroom/cottage are all updated/well decorated. Our dog enjoyed the trip as well - perfectly pet friendly with all hardwood floors. Great hiking trails nearby, including one right across the street from Ingles. We look forward to our next visit!"

  • Spectacular!

"That is the only word I can use to describe the Pumpkin Patch Chalet! We were in town for the Apple Butter Festival. Last year and this year we had a booth to sale our books - A Life for Nancy, Daughter of Frankie Silver and Pen in Hand, David Parker Civil War Letters. We were so lucky to get the Pumpkin Patch as it has wonderful reviews and I can see why everyone would want to stay there. The Pumpkin Patch is more equipped with necessities than any other cabin we have ever rented. The kitchen is amazing, the beds comfortable, the décor fits right in with the awesome view of Roan Mountain. You need not bring anything but food, drink and clothes for a wonderful weekend at the chalet. You can bet we will be visiting again!!! Rickey and Danita Stoudemire Franklin, NC"

  • Can't wait to go back!!

"My husband and I had a most wonderful weekend at the Little River cabin. There is so much to see ...ponds, trails, flowers, so many birds, a beautiful duck with its own pond, benches everywhere, etc. I could spend hours everyday just wandering the grounds. A lot of time and work has gone into the property and it was so well maintained. This is a perfect place for those who enjoy the great outdoors."
