  • Perfect Getaway

"One of the best trips my wife and I have ever taken. Perfect place to be alone with the person you love. Some of the best scenery we have ever seen. Bettie was a perfect host.Communication was great. We are already planning our next trip to the chalet. Can't wait to go back. Great memories."

  • Wonderful place to stay

"We rented the lower unit of the round house. The unit was very clean and comfortable. A great fireplace with plenty of wood. The deck has a wonderful porch swing where we enjoyed our morning coffee and the beautiful view. Very peaceful and relaxing place. The moonrise and stars are spectacular from the deck. Gail is very helpful with sending information about the surrounding area and does whatever she can to make sure you have a pleasant stay, and we did. I highly recommend this unit."

  • Lake Lure Cabin Stay

"We were looking for a budget friendly way to spend some time on Lake Lure, and found it with this beautiful quaint cabin. It is comfortable and clean and had plenty of space for the 7 of us. The floor plan worked out great with the two bed sleeping loft, one bedroom and one bath on the upper level, which is where the three young adult boys slept. The main floor bedroom and bath was where my husband and I slept, and the lower level had a bedroom, bath and bed area in the family room, which was perfect for the two young adult girls. The "kids" used the lower level family room for their hang out space at night. The kids enjoyed the boulder climbing in a separate area of Chimney Rock Park that was free and down the road from the main entrance. We rented kayak's for the kids, and a pontoon boat that we all took out in the evening and enjoyed a packed picnic dinner on the boat on the lake. We all had a wonderful and relaxing time and enjoyed our stay!"

  • Beautiful setting

"Beautiful and spacious cabin on the top of the mountain! Would gladly stay here again...in the Spring or Summer! We had snow while we were there and the trip down the mountain was treacherous, to say the least. It is by far one of the best stocked homes we have rented in terms of kitchen supple. Unfortunately, after we booked, we learned we needed to bring all our own sheets and towels. As we were meeting friend who were flying in, that fell on me and my wife to make beds for six and to bring down enough towels for showers and for the hot tub. That all then had to be laundered when we got home. We often struggle in rented cabins as our son is highly allergic to dogs and cats. He did not have any issues at all so I would highly recommend the place to families who have someone who struggles with allergies."
