"My family really enjoyed this house. It was spacious and was well equipped. My only complaints is I wish the owner would take out the pictures of the sliding board and the paddle boat, because these are no longer there. Also, if you want to play bags you need to bring your own set because the bags themselves had holes in them. I don't think you should advertise something you no longer have as we were expecting these."

"This was my family's first mountain vacation. This cabin is gorgeous. Just what we wanted. Plenty of room, very clean and all the comforts of home. There was even soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish detergent, and other little things included. The pool was nice. We had that to ourself on two occasions. We enjoyed a nice dinner at a little restaraunt called Roma's in Nebo. It was a short drive to several attractions. Hiking at Linville falls was very pretty. We drove on the parkway and stopped at several outposts. We spent a day tubing on the toe river at Carolina Hemlock and a day in some local stores. All in all a great time! The only con was the train that comes by a few times a night. The property is near a railroad crossing so the train blows its whistle while passing. Not enough nuisance to keep me away though."

"A wonderful, relaxing vacation away from it all! The house was nicer than the pictures online and very clean. The property manager was very helpful and accomodating, providing assistance with putting our boats in the water. A small grocery store was about 10 minutes away and had everything we needed. If you are pickey, I would shop before you get in to town, this store provided the basics which is all we needed. The house was very spacious, had everything we needed, and it is an easy drive from Hickory so we will definitly be staying here again!!"

"We all enjoyed your lake house, we were there for my nephew's wedding which was being held at a near by marina/restaurant on the lake. Sitting on the porch and looking down at the lake was very relaxing, we spent most of our time while at the house on the patio. We also enjoyed swimming and kayaking along the lake. We rented a pontoon boat for the day and explored the beautiful lake which is a must do since we are avid boaters ourselves. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was well equipped with dishes to handle our group but it would have been nice to have a larger grill on the back deck, unfortunately there was not enough room on it to cook for our group. Although you probably can't do anything about it the 3rd bedroom is very small and had no room to move around once the bottom trundle bed was rolled out plus there was no closet to hang your clothes. It would be ok for kids staying in that room but not 2 adults. All in all it was a very pleasant stay."
