Great Vacation Spot
"We stayed in Elysium for a week in August. The moment I walked into the house I couldn't get over how clean and fresh it smelled. The pictures do not give the house credit like it so deserves. It's very roomy. We had six adults and had lots of room. You are close to Chimney Rock, Chimney Rock Village, Lake Luke, Hendersonville, Ashville and Black Mountain. I lists these because we did something at all of these locations. Zen Tubing in Asheville I would highly recommend. For the shoppers we enjoyed Asheville and Hendersonville. The Lake Lure boat tour is great. Our favorite place to eat was in the Chimney Rock Village at Medina's Village Bistro. The only negative about the place that we had was the drive up to the house. It is a bit tricky. Enjoy the house. We hope to return for a visit."

"My friend and I spent a week in this delightful cottage. The furniture was comfortable, which was wonderful since we spent most of our week reading, relaxing and watching old movies. We went into Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, Edneyville (for apples) and Hendersonville on a couple of days - but mostly found we enjoyed just relaxing at the cottage. Highly recommend this rental. The owner was wonderful to deal with also."

"The website, including the photos, give you a good sense of what this place is like. It is a nice, quiet, comfortable house, overlooking a small lake. There are plenty of fun day trips to do -- if you want to -- or you can just hang out on the terrace and relax."

"We loved the location on Bald Mt. Lake. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool table, fishing, canoeing, and paddle boating. It was a quiet and serene lake. I loved the fact that the house is easy to access and park at (compared to other homes built on the steep hill). We also loved the amenities at the resort. Tennis, beach access, indoor pool, workout room, mini golf, the lazy river and pools, golf, etc! The homeowner was easy and quick to reach when a summer storm knocked out the phone/wifi/cable. She promptly handled it and service was restored quickly."
