  • Our Trip

"My family, wife and I, 3 girls (14,17,18) had a wonderful time here. We went to Asheville one day, about a 45 minute windy drive. Watched the World Cup soccer because the cabin did not have ESPN, surprising. Chimney Rock is 10 minutes away and has lots of good hiking trails, we all liked that. We went to the Linville Caverns, 1 hour away, which was fun and then went to the Linville Falls which was very close. Good hiking and cool waterfalls. Best part of the trip was going to Saluda and Green River Adventures to do white water rafting. Much fun. The cabin has everything you need."

  • Lake Lure Visit

"We had such a wonderful time during our visit to Lake Lure! The communication from the owners of this condo from the beginning was excellent! They kept us updated with information we needed to make our stay perfect! The condo was very nice - There were 5 in our party and we had lots of space to relax. There are 2 queen beds in each bedroom so we all were very comfortable. Kitchen is stocked with plates, cookware, utensils, linens etc.. everything you need. Plus there is a Washer/Dryer which was very convenient! The Rumbling Bald Resort is beautiful! We played mini golf and took many walks on this beautiful property. There is a grocery store within 15 minutes, Chimney Rock is 30 minutes and Asheville is 1 hour away. Just a very beautiful area to visit! We appreciate Sallie and Alan for allowing us to stay on their property!"

  • Another great visit!

"This was our third annual "bridge group" trip to Ledford's Landing, and each year has renewed our love for this property. Five couples share the lakeside, mountain view home, with all the amenities you can imagine. From the roaring fire we kept burning all the chilly weekend, to the meals we cooked in the large kitchen, the nature photos we took, and the blissful relaxation of the porches and decks and open house plan, we can't imagine going anywhere else for our fall trip."

  • Totally impressed with this cabin!

"What a great week we spent at the cabin! The owner has thought of everything, and I mean everything to make your stay awesome! The kitchen was packed with every possible gadget and bakeware we needed. There were extra sheets, extra blankets, extra paper towels etc... And the little details, from labeling the lights (who wants to spend their whole vacation fighting with light switches), to the ease of arrival and departure! Mark was the most communicative host we've dealt with. He responds instantly and is happy to text! Wish we could've stayed longer! PS -- AT&T cellphones work great at the cabin and the internet was reliable all week long!"
