"Our family stayed at this lovely home for 5 days recently while attending the Hickory Nut Gorge destination wedding of our daughter.
The decks were favorite gathering places for everyone. I'll never forget sitting on the lower deck in the early morning watching reflections of pink clouds and rising mist on the lake. The huge open concept of the floor plan was just terrific for staying connected with the coming and going of our extended family. The kitchen was well stocked and nicely arranged for food preparation and serving. The downstairs had everything anyone could possibly need. We all fell in love with the ambiance of the 'sunroom/reading room' on the main level.
We loved having the availability of the golf cart, boat, kayak and dock.
The owners were most gracious and helpful in every way. We very much appreciated their kindness and hospitality. They made reservations for us at their favorite restaurant when we inquired about a good place to eat upon our arrival and they even made short term parking available when our future in-laws stopped by.
Our family from KY, CA and Austria that stayed with us thought they could not have been treated more royally or have stayed at a more gracious home. We agree with them."

"We have stayed on Lake Lure many times over the years in several homes, but Ledford's Landing is by far the best . Great view, location and amenities. This is the second time for my family and friends. We will be back."

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Our family of five adults and two children stayed at Bedford Falls in July 2015 and had a wonderful time. The photos do not do the home justice - it is even more spacious and beautiful than it appears in the pictures. We found it to be very clean and the most well-stocked kitchen of any vacation home we have ever rented (and there have been quite a few). The location is excellent - close to the grocery store, Lake Lure Beach, and Rumbling Bald Resort. Tracy with Buffalo Junction Properties was very quick to respond to any question we had and came by one afternoon to pick up any additional trash we had accumulated. While she was there she spent some time telling us about some of the renovations that had been completed on the house and giving us information about the area in general. We thought that was so nice and enjoyed our chat with her. It was wonderful to have the pontoon boat, paddle boat, kayak, and canoe there and our group took advantage of them daily. We also spent a good amount of time just floating around the cove on rafts, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and relaxing on the screened porch and sundeck. The hot tub fit five adults comfortably and the gas fire pit was easy to use and great for s'mores at night. It was definitely one of the most enjoyable family vacations we have ever had, in large part because the home and amenities fit our needs perfectly. In fact, we loved it so much we've already booked for a week next year!"

"We were visiting our children on their fall break from Furman University and Virginia Tech..The location of this cottage was perfect....a very short walk to Chimney Rock center and Lake lure was only a mile away...We rarely used our car....We did so much during our 4 night stay, mini golf, kayaking, zip lining, apple picking in Hendersonville(less than a15 minute drive to the nearest orchard) and traveling to Asheville, about a half hour or so away..This is an older home with a very small kitchen, the dining room was a nice size and the rest of the cottage was spacious and accommodated our large group well...Crimson cottage is near a river making it is a little musty but has working air conditioning that helped clear the air...The bedrooms were very nice and there were also pullout couches in the living room, plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably...The huge upstairs was great and the kids had fun hanging out in their own private area, playing games and watching movies...We loved the yard and the veiw from the backyard facing the cliff is beautiful! The house is in a neighborhood but the yard is big and we had fun playing horseshoes and enjoyed sitting around the the fire we made in the rustic fire pit....Our family had a lovely long weekend and we will cherish our time and the memories we made at Chimney rock and Crimson cottage."
