Nice Cabin for Relaxing
"Cabin is lovely with nice little kitchen, very comfortable beds, and all the necessary amenities. Grill has gas hookup so no empty tank worries. It takes about 20 minutes to get from the cabin to I40 to head wherever you want to go. Make sure you gps the interstate route if you want to avoid very curvy roads. We enjoyed time in Brevard, Asheville, Black Mountain and Lake Lure. I highly recommend driving to Brevard for hiking and other activities in beautiful Pisgah Forest, shopping the shops downtown Brevard and do go eat at Square Root there! Shindig on rhe Green in Asheville (local music) was a very enjoyable mountain evening as well. The homeowners of this cabin made renting their place very easy and hassle free."

"Have been vacationing in Lake Lure for a number of years. First time renting through VRBO. We loved this house.
The multiple levels and many rooms worked allowed everyone to have their own space. Enjoyed making family dinners in the updated kitchen every evening, and we all ended up on the air-conditioned enclosed porch for cards and family games afterward.
Where the house is located on the lake is perfect as well. You can't see neighbors houses from this location, and we never heard or saw them during our stay. And, the views of the lake from this location were incredible. The kids enjoyed jumping off the platform into the lake from the high deck. And, we used the paddle boards, kayaks, and canoe everyday.
Can't wait to come back to this house next year!"

"The great thing about the Manchester cabin is the location - private but convenient to recreation, shopping, and a variety of dining options. Always peaceful and relaxing, with all the comforts you could ever need. Thoughtful welcoming basket with goodies and fresh flowers, sitting on the deck swing each morning while the dogs enjoyed the fenced in yard, and delicious blueberries. Visited Black Mountain and Asheville, as well as Chimney Rock. Can't wait until next year's visit!"

"My parents asked for a trip with their children and grandchildren for their 50th Anniversary. The River House and Little River House were as close to perfect accommodations as you can get for a large group, with all ages from 8 to 75+! Every room is beautiful and comfortable. The location is a good starting point for day trips to hike or shop or play in the water. The Jennings were helpful and attentive hosts. We had a great week!"
