The perfect spot for a relaxing weekend with family or friends!
"The Asheville area was the best spot for us to meet up with friends from Durham-Chapel Hill area (half way between the triangle and Atlanta). We have met in the area for the past 5 years, including one previous trip to the Lake Lure area, and this was the best location we have stayed at (despite inclement weather - we were there during hurricane Joaquin!) The house was secluded, at the end of a driveway and over a small creek, and surrounded by trees. There are a couple of nice, moss-covered trails right out the front door, and when you are sitting in the hot tub you feel like you are in a tree house - beautiful! The house was accommodating for our group of 8, but retained a cozy feel. Lots of tools available in the kitchen for cooking big family-style meals, aside from food you don't need to pack anything. Shirley was wonderful to talk with, and the most responsive host I have had on VRBO or Airbnb. We are definitely planning to go back next year and would highly recommend it for anyone else!"

"Had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin in early august. We walked to mirror lake and the swimming hole for both fishing and swimming. We also visited the rumbling bald resort and golfed and sat on the beach. So many things to do here for a family. Highly recommend lake lure adventure company for tubing and for food we'd recommend la strada and larkins on the lake!! Really an awesome house with everything you need plus great proximity to all there is to do best of both worlds!! Would definitely visit again:)"

"Three generations of three couples and two children stayed in this beautiful vacation cabin. Everyone enjoyed the week long stay. The cabin is large enough for individual times and for the group get-togethers. The fire pit by the river was an extra bonus on the warm summer nights. The soothing sounds of the river were enchanting. Fishing for rainbow trout right from the back yard was also a treat. The owner was easy to work with and any problems were addressed in a timely matter. Will always stay here on all our trips to The North Carolina Mountains."
