"This was a lovely condo that was very beautifully appointed. We were a little disappointed that it was not a little closer to the lake but that was our only disappointment."

"The view is stunning, The log cabin beautiful, and so clean and well appointed. The furniture is very comfortable , indoor and out. Sitting on the deck and just listening to nature was so calming - it's so quiet here! We would definitely come back here. Black Mountain is 30 minutes away , but it wasn't a bad drive at all, and we also went into Brevard and Asheville. We had lot's of rain but it didn't spoil any of our plans. Lori was helpful with directions and arriving info - We cannot wait to take another trip to this area and we would definitely want to rent this cabin again!"

"We would definitely recommend this cottage. It provided four of us (two couples) a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Lake Lure. The owner met us promptly when we arrived and was very helpful in orienting us to the cabin and surrounding area. Everything was clean and the cabin itself was light and very pleasant. I especially enjoyed the raftered ceilings and the eclectic knick knacks along the ceiling level shelves. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, etc. and we had all our meals at the cabin. We relaxed on the screened-in back porch.
For not being on the water, the cabins are conveniently located toward the west end of Lake Lure. They are also pretty quiet for being just off the paved road. The Flowering Bridge was just a short walk (really a treat) and you could walk to the public beach (although if you’re carting anything, you will want to drive). Also, this end of the Lake is very convenient to Chimney Rock. We definitely would return to this cottage for another Lake Lure vacation."
