"After searching the internet for a place to stay close to the APP State campus, I found yours listed on VRBO. Upon entering the cottage, we immediately felt at home. We were looking for a place to just "get away" for a few days and this was the perfect place. Very clean, completely furnished with all needs. The beds were clean and very comfortable. My granddaughter enjoyed the loft compared to dorm life!! It was hard to leave this excellent location. I highly recommend your cottage to anyone looking for a nice, quiet "get away". I sincerely hope we have an occasion to visit again. Thanks for furnishing a place that feels like "home"."

"Perfect house for a family gathering. Seven adults ages 21-73. Enough space for all. Beds were super comfortable with plenty of extra linens, blankets, and pillows. Kitchen was well stocked with all are needs. We brought with us an aluminum pan but were even surprised to find a roasting pan that fit our 30 pound Christmas turkey. Two large bathrooms and a nice half bath meant all 7 of us could get ready quickly each morning. Bath towels were very plush. Christmas dinner sitting in front of the roaring fireplace in the dining room made the dinner even more special. House sits on street with 5 other houses but you dont even know they are there once you are at the house. Easy drive to Biltmore House in under an hour. Could see Chimney Rock from the house in the distance which was a quick 5 minute drive. Ingles grocery was 5 minutes away and had an amazing selection. Hendersonville was a 20-30 minute drive with a great Main Street. Only suggestion would be a potato masher or hand blender. Other than that we wanted for nothing. Mom was the contact person for owner and she always promptly answered back."

"For the past 6 years of our 12 year marriage, my wife and I rent a place in the mountains to go for a days to unwind and spend with just each other. Crazy Moose was a perfect place for us this year. It is not located too far from Boone or Blowing Rock. Not far from Sugar or Beech Mountain where you can do some awesome skiing. If you are the adventurous type, you are minutes away from Hawksnest. Hawksnest is where you can go Ziplining or tubing. Grandfather Mountain is right up the road. The original Mast General Store is only a hop, skip and a jump from the cabin. You only about 20 minutes from the outlet mall where many of the name brand stores are located. Daniel Boone restaurant is convent. The house itself is very cozy. It has plenty of room for small to large gathering (12 people comfortable). The hot tub is very nice with a beautiful view of the mountains. Cell phone signal is limited, which is a bonus for those wanting to unplug. It has a very nice gas grill and large picnic table to enjoy your meal outside. The game room is equipped with a flat panel tv, DVDs, and board games. Washer and dryer is available to help reduce laundry when you get back home. The decor of the house makes it feel comfortable. I would recommend this house to anyone that enjoys the mountains."
