  • Family reunion

"We came from Texas, Arkansas and Washington to have a family reunion. There were 19 total so we rented the Little River Cottage in addition to the Chimney Rock River House. The hardest part was deciding who was going to get which room, since they were all so lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing the river when sitting on the decks or with the windows open in the bedroom. Although the weather was not the best, we did manage to have a whole lot of fun. We hiked to hickory nut falls then on to the top of chimney rock. We enjoyed kayaking, zip lining, taking the boat tour of lake Lure and shopping in both Chimney Rock and Black Mountain. We cooked most of the time but did enjoy a few meals out at LaStrada, and Tia B's. Both are highly recommended. Rondi warned us that there would be more to do than time to do it and she was correct. It just means we will have to come back again to enjoy the rest of what we missed !"

  • Incredible Family Experience

"Our weekend at Willet Ponds Farm was probably the best family weekend we've ever had. My wife and I have two boys, aged 4 and 2, and they absolutely loved every minute of our time there. We were able to feed the animals almost immediately after we got there, and the boys also went on an egg hunt. They found around two dozen eggs throughout the weekend, and they are incredibly delicious! We took a family hike up the mountain behind the farm which was challenging but really fun. The farmhouse is very spacious, clean, and has a ton of charm decorated with the antiques from Walton's family. We made bonfires each night, roasted marshmallows, and even picked our own apples. I found myself dreading looking at my phone even to check the time as I felt like I was in a different world where business, schedules, and meetings didn't matter. We will be visiting the farm yearly as long as Walton and his family continue hosting people at the farmhouse!"

  • Wonderful place to stay

"This house was by far one of the best we have stayed in during the last few years. The house was very clean and had just about everything that we needed. Everything was in excellent condition (with the exception of the couch which seemed a little worn) and very enjoyable. I tend to be a germ-a-phobe and I had no problem with anything in this house. My dogs loved the yard and the lake. We really appreciated the gates on the deck. I would highly recommend this property!"

Linville Falls Travel Tips

Escape the Crowds with Linville Falls Vacation Rentals

Have you ever found yourself in beautiful countryside, only to be surrounded by swarms of fellow hotel guests? Avoid this annoyance with Linville Falls vacation rentals. Quiet Blue Ridge Mountain cabins offer the peace and quiet that a hotel will never achieve. Catch up on your sleep, read a good book by the fire, and spend family quality time over a board game or cooking a special meal. You can relax in Linville Falls cabins knowing that your nearest neighbor might just be miles away.

Reconnect with Nature at Linville Falls Cabins

Not all Blue Ridge Mountain resorts offer close proximity to beautiful waterfalls. Linville Falls cabins give adventurous families the chance to reconnect with nature. Picture your family hitting the trails for a hike along Erwin's View Trail, breathing the fresh mountain air the whole way. Be sure to pack a picnic, and as the scenic waterfalls and surrounding rocks come into view, pick a spot to relax over your lunch. Your kids will love the opportunity to splash around, and if they get wet, don't worry! Linville Falls vacation rentals are right nearby, and you can get cleaned up again before heading out for your next adventure.

Save Money with Blue Ridge Mountain Resorts

Who says that entertainment has to come with a price tag? Linville Falls vacation rentals allow you to save money on entertainment costs and still deliver big vacations. Skip the amusement parks and expensive tours in favor of bicycling, hiking, and bird watching. Go for a walk along the Linville River and watch your kids use their imagination for a day's entertainment. Linville Falls cabins allow you to enjoy the landscape at a relaxed pace. While many travelers driving the Blue Ridge Parkway stop in for a quick glance, you can avoid the crowded weekends and enjoy the falls as they were meant to be seen: without another person in sight.
