"We had the most relaxing time during our 2 night stay in this amazing log home that was pet friendly. The screened porch was just what I needed to sit and listen to nature. The home was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need."

"This was our first time out in the Blue Ridge Mountain area. View is fantastic, scenic and peaceful. Coming from Los Angeles, this was the perfect place to get rest and relaxation after attending the Mars Hill University graduation. Owner is very responsive and renting out the house was very straightforward and easy. House is well kept, got everything one would need to be entertained. Beds are very comfortable and it was plenty big to sleep 8 adults during out stay. Would definitely rent from this place again!"

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was clean.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Round Knob lodge is a beautiful location! We were happy to find a place that had enough room to sleep 12 people comfortably. The fish and trout ponds were beautiful too with no problem catching fish. The creek behind the lodge was a enjoyable time for the teenagers. The creek is nice a wide with very good water flow! The teenagers also, enjoyed the game room with pool table and darts. Grey beard reality were super friendly and more than generous with hostility and to give information on things to do and places to go to make the overall trip as fun as possible! The lodge's bathrooms, floors, towels, dishes, and sheets were all clean and in order however, there were several spider webs throughout that didn't resonate well and that's an easy fix. There is a swimming pool but not available to guest due to liability. However, I would have paid an extra $500 for the week and signed a total liability release to have used the pool. The pool would have been a big plus or if the pool can be retro fitted into a jacuzzi/hot tub. Overall I would like to return to this special retreat!!!"

"My husband, 2year-old, and our dog stayed at Copper Springs and absolutely loved it! It's a beautiful little retreat with great views and super comfy amenities. The king-sized bed gave us great nights' sleep and the bedroom was more than roomy to fit a pack-n-play. The front door does open into the bedroom but there is another door off the kitchen. There are hardwood floors throughout and the newly-remodeled bathroom was my favorite because of the awesome shower and heated floors! Everything you need is in the kitchen, even though we didn't really cook...just cereal, sandwiches and we ate out for dinner. But you can make coffee, there is a microwave, and ice trays which came in handy. The property is a duplex, we were upstairs which was fine and during our stay no one was downstairs. Next time we stay, we will bring more family and rent both cabins :) I would definitely recommend staying here as it was very comfortable and close to lots of things to do. We went to Tweetsies, 10 minutes away, Grandfather Mountain, 40 minutes away, and downtown Blowing Rock, 15 minutes away. The owner is really nice and prompt in getting back to you for any inquiries you may have. Definitely coming back!"
