  • TOP NOTCH, kind owners and wonderful facility. A little Shangri-La in North Western North Carolina

"I've used VRBO for a good number of rentals including Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, London and several other US locations on the Coastal / Eastern NC. I have to say, East Fork Farm is a FABULOUS respite from the world. A "foodie" paradise with well-equiped kitchen, beautiful surroundings in a peaceful, pastoral setting. Dawn is top-notch, friendly and responsive. The place is well-kept, clean and perfectly. Private, with high-speed internet and Dish TV. Phone coverage is spotty. . .but they even have that covered with a cell phone at the location for use. Beds are extremely comfortable. And as someone with terrible allergies, I had nary a trouble during my 1/2 week stay. I HIGHLY recommend East Fork Farm and cannot say enough good things about my stay there. Ask Dawn about purchasing their farm eggs, rabbit, chicken and fresh lamb. Gracious goodness, a dream come true for anyone wanting to do some fishing, relaxing with family and eating farm to table food!"

  • Crazy Moose was Awesome Cabin

"For the past 6 years of our 12 year marriage, my wife and I rent a place in the mountains to go for a days to unwind and spend with just each other. Crazy Moose was a perfect place for us this year. It is not located too far from Boone or Blowing Rock. Not far from Sugar or Beech Mountain where you can do some awesome skiing. If you are the adventurous type, you are minutes away from Hawksnest. Hawksnest is where you can go Ziplining or tubing. Grandfather Mountain is right up the road. The original Mast General Store is only a hop, skip and a jump from the cabin. You only about 20 minutes from the outlet mall where many of the name brand stores are located. Daniel Boone restaurant is convent. The house itself is very cozy. It has plenty of room for small to large gathering (12 people comfortable). The hot tub is very nice with a beautiful view of the mountains. Cell phone signal is limited, which is a bonus for those wanting to unplug. It has a very nice gas grill and large picnic table to enjoy your meal outside. The game room is equipped with a flat panel tv, DVDs, and board games. Washer and dryer is available to help reduce laundry when you get back home. The decor of the house makes it feel comfortable. I would recommend this house to anyone that enjoys the mountains."

  • Lovely

"Sweet little cabin. Beds were very comfortable. Lake view from cabin is great, very peaceful. Enjoyed the Canadian geese landing and taking off all day. The woodpeckers were entertaining and the chipmunks ! Our little dog enjoyed running around in the fence and rooting through the ivy. Great location, close to Ingles grocery which is very nice. Went to several restaurants, recommend Medina's in Chimney Rock, very good."

  • Great Cottage in a Great Location!

"I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! It's just minutes from anything you could need. The view on the river is beautiful! The owners were great and very helpful. We will definitely be returning!"
