"The cabin is beautiful and cozy. We had a wonderful weekend! We did it all; we relaxed in the hot tub and the hammock, barbecued, made s'mores in the fire ring by the pond, and hiked the trails. The best part was being able to bring our dog with us. Can't wait to come back!"

"Thank you for sharing your cabin with us! The rustic cabin was perfect for our 4th of July getaway. We enjoyed the using the hottub and being able to bring our dog, Lucy. Black Mountain was a great town to spend celebrating the 4th. We enjoyed hanging out downtown along with visiting the local breweries.
Thank you again for sharing your cabin!"

"Had a wonderful time staying at the Highrock Preserve! The cabin was perfect, enjoyed the trails on the property and hanging out in the rocking chairs on the porch in the mornings and evenings! Took a day trip up to Granfather Mountain for some hiking, beautiful drive and great trails! Also spent some time in Asheville which is a quick and easy drive. Can't wait to go back, always sad to leave!"

"On a hastily thrown together trip to Asheville, Mary Beth was very prompt and was able to accommodate us at her cabin, and our dogs, on short notice. The cabin was clean and exactly as described. We didn't need anything like a hot tub or special amenities, just a secluded place to rest after days exploring the area, and this cabin fit the bill. I would just say the bed was overly firm for my taste, however my wife, who recently had successful back surgery, loved it. There is a foam mattress topper in the closet if needed.
It was a short drive from Asheville despite its secludedness. And we were pleasantly surprised by the town of Black Mountain, which we had not anticipated. Highly recommend The Dripolator coffee house.
Really enjoyed it and our dogs appreciated being able to sniff around the area around the cabin and hang out out on the deck. We'll be back."
