"LOVED! this cottage! Impeccably clean. This cottage is a wonderful place for a getaway from all the cares and worries of the world. Very privately located in a gated community on its own road. All you hear is nature. Pictures do not do the cottage justice. Large farmer's sink, full size gas stove, microwave, full size refrigerator and dishwasher and very well equipped with everything you need including a laundry area. Every room has a view of nature and or mountains. Flat panel TV and a gas fireplace. Games, cards, books and a wii for fun. Toys for young kids in the basement along with a foosball table. A huge screened porch to sit and watch the world go by. The upstairs bedroom has a large window to gaze at the stars at night or watch the sun setting and colors play off the mountains. A huge bathroom with a heated jacuzzi tub, wonderful shower and pedestal sinks. Spa towels and luxurious sheets on the unbelievably comfortable king sized bed. Downstairs bedroom with king bed is large with a big bathroom. 2 sinks, clawfoot tub, water closet. The cottage is centrally located to wineries, Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking, waterfalls and mountains galore. The gated community has a lake, a pool and walking trails. An incredible rate for such a beautiful place. The Cottage at Hidden Lake is a must stay. We will be back! You will not be disappointed! Truly a hidden gem!"

Great cabin - beautiful view and close to many attractions.
"Just spent New Year's week at Go Fish with another family. There were a total of 10 of us, and the cabin is set up nicely to accommodate two families with kids. It wasn't clear to us, but the cabin has a king bed / loft with bathroom on the top floor, another on the main floor with a bathroom and room for about 6 to sleep in the basement with another bathroom. Nice comfortable furniture and plenty of tv's for everyone. Nice gas powered wood stove warms the place up nicely. The kids loved the hot tub on the porch. Kudos to the owners for springing for some nice quality mattresses ... first time I have not woken up with back pain in years ! Two large decks overlooking the Watauga river and a small horse farm. Great getaway for fishing or skiing in the NC mts."

"Lovely place! The view was spectacular - foggy, sunsets, mountains all terrific! The place is beautiful and well supplied with everything you'd need for a comfy stay. The only downside is, you need to arrive in daylight in case it's socked in with fog - there are some hairpin turns and switchbacks getting up the mountain. It is also a good 15-20 minutes getting to the place from the main road, so you don't come and go easily - however- it's spectacular once you are there! The deck is amazing, the kitchen beautiful, beds comfy. Three bathrooms - plenty of closet space. The kids ranging from 10 to 27 had a blast! Grown-ups - (Older than 30) were relaxed and happy. Wish we stayed longer. Oh - and it was breathtakingly beautiful in early spring!"

"Our weekend stay was everything we expected and more. What a beautiful cabin with all the luxuries anyone would want or need. The view from the deck is exceptional and even better while sitting in the rocking chairs. The town of Black Mountain is literally minutes awhile with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. Sitting in the large living room area with the fireplace going was a great way to end the days. Thanks Sherri for letting us stay at this wonderful cabin and we will be back soon!!"
