  • Beautiful home! Breathtaking views!

"Weekend getaway with our grown children. This gorgeous home is much more than a cabin in the woods! From the huge wraparound deck with stunning views, the upscale kitchen, private balcony in the master suite, and warm inviting decorating, we were all very impressed. The owner was wonderful. With heavy rain forcast for part of our stay, he graciously allowed us an early check in, so the kids could get their Stone Mountain hike completed. Relaxing around the fire pit at night, toasting marshmallows, star gazing, and listening to music from the outdoor speakers was perfect! Nonstop rain ( 3 inches)drove us indoors for our last day. We enjoyed a friendly ping pong and pool tournament! I would suggest that you stay put at the cabin until heavy rains are over. The low bridge on Moxley does flood, but by morning all we had to do was move some debris to get through. We would recommend Stone Mountain Serenity to anyone!"

  • First class experience!

"What a gorgeous home! Very upscale in design and furnishings...definitely felt more like someone's personal home than a cookie cutter rental. Fresh, elegant, super clean, private, and with all amenities provided. We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay in the Linville area. This home was also very conveniently located to Esceola Lodge, less than a 10 minute drive. And that view of Grandfather Mountain in the photos...well, the real thing was even more spectacular! Absolutely one of the most picturesque settings imaginable. We took SO many pictures from the back porch with the mountains as the backdrop! The covered side porch with wood burning fireplace was wonderful and inviting, too. Great spaces indoors and outdoors for entertaining and dining. We would rent this home again without hesitation! Thanks to the owners for sharing it with us and thanks to Danielle for handling all the details of our reservation so efficiently and courteously. Picture perfect mountain getaway!"

  • Wonderful Accomodations

"The group I was with couldn't have been more pleased with this wonderful place. Comfortable and cozy without being cramped. Glen made us feel welcome and couldn't have been more gracious. We intended to camp during this time but storms in the area washed those dreams away, however, Angie's Sugar Shack was the found rainbow and pot of gold for us. The only downside? We had to go home. Highly, highly recommended."

  • Warm, welcoming retreat

"This house was fantastic. The reviews looked too good to be true but this place was the real deal. Clean, inviting, well cared for home in an ideal location. Stayed warm inside even when it dropped below 0 outside. Roads are well plowed and sanded but bring your 4x4 in the winter for sure. Walking distance to Hawks Nest for tubing and zip line - 800 yards or so."
