"We were so very happy that we chose to stay here for Christmas! We arrived on a wet, foggy evening and felt instantly at home in this adorably decorated, cozy, clean cottage. The area is gorgeous, but I could have stayed in and enjoyed the view the entire time! The wood burning fireplace was a favorite of ours. There is separate sitting area/TV room downstairs (with a gas fireplace) that we really enjoyed as well. The weather was cool but we still enjoyed the three decks, especially the one overlooking Grandfather mountain. The owners, Jeff and Suzanne, were absolutely wonderful to work with. We hope to return!"

"My wife and I visit the North Carolina Mountains a few times a year, and had a wonderful time this Christmas.
The home is located overlooking a beautiful section of the Beech Mountain Golf Course where we saw deer every day we were there. One day, a family of deer even walked by the kitchen window-- so peaceful!
Perfect setting for us to go to a local Christmas tree farm and get a wonderful Christmas tree to make some great holiday memories
We loved preparing most of our meals in the nice kitchen, and the rest of the house has plenty of soft beds and quaint sitting areas for every taste.
Too chilly to really enjoy the outdoor area, but a nice fireplace and table outside would be great in the spring and summer!
Beech Mountain is a little world all by itself, but some great resources in town. (Loved Fred's General Store.. they have EVERYTHING!) Home is about 20 minutes to Banner Elk and the ski areas, all on curvy but well-maintained roads. Spent some time snow tubing on a small but very pretty Christmas day snow!
Loved the trip and will always consider the mountains a favorite travel spot."

"Had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin in early august. We walked to mirror lake and the swimming hole for both fishing and swimming. We also visited the rumbling bald resort and golfed and sat on the beach. So many things to do here for a family. Highly recommend lake lure adventure company for tubing and for food we'd recommend la strada and larkins on the lake!! Really an awesome house with everything you need plus great proximity to all there is to do best of both worlds!! Would definitely visit again:)"

"We arrived at the Cedar Beech House on a Thursday. The house was very clean and large. Two bedrooms up and two down. Living room upstairs, and a family room downstairs. Every bedroom has it's own large bathroom. There was a master bedroom on the main floor across from the kitchen. Very good for those with mobility issues. The house is in a neighborhood right across the street from the entrance of Beech Mountain ski resort. My friend and I walked to the cafeteria at the ski resort. About 15-20 min walk, uphill, but not too bad. The house has a hot tub which worked fine. It snowed twice while we were there, and the house stayed warm and dry. We didn't even need the fireplace! The only small issue is that there is only parking for two cars...not an issue for us, since that's all we had. Really great time at the house, and our family skied a lot! Beautiful, large house!"
