"My son, nephew, and his son, and I stayed here for 4 nights. The cabin and location were everything promised. The view was spectacular. The cabin had plenty of linens, dishes, etc. The last 1/4 mile of road is very steep and curvy, but safe. The cabin was no more than 15 minutes from Spruce Pine, which has an excellent restaurant, a full service grocery store, and a super Walmart."

"We had a great time. The cabin and recommendations were spot on and we can't wait to come back. Crabtree falls (5++ trail) was very rewarding once you got there and the Mountain View Restaraunt was amazing. The weather was atleast 10 degrees cooler if not more we loved it :) Without Jill's recommenedations this trip wouldn't have been half as awesome. THANKS!!"

"We had a great stay for our after XMAS vacation at Parkway Peek! Greeted by a beautiful sunset on the back porch, we enjoyed the awesome views from the house and Blue Ridge Parkway. We had grandparents who stayed on the upper kitchen level along with adults, 3 kids, and a dog. All were very comfortable and and my worries of having only a wood burning stove were overrated. We stayed warm and cozy!
From playing cornhole on the deck and sitting by the fire pit, to going tubing at Hawksnest, Gem mining in town, everyone had a great time (and got along! lol). Also had a great lunch at Hef's in Spruce Pine and loved the fried Oreo's.
Thanks Lesli for your recommendations and checking in with us throughout our trip. We look forward to a return visit soon!"

Remote getaway with gorgeous views and without giving up the amenities of home
"Our family of 7 loved this place. Since this was our first family vacation with our 6 month old twins, we were looking for a place that was remote, but not TOO remote, and that had a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. We wanted to make sure that we would have a great time, even if we didn't get a chance to leave the property. The mountain view through the big dining room / living room windows was fantastic. Twice while there, we saw deer right in the backyard. The firepit out back is nice for spending time with the family in the evenings. The Blue Ridge Parkway is just a few miles away and Linville Falls is close as well."
