"We had a great get away vacation in Lewdog Lodge. The cabin is well outfitted to keep you comfortable. The patio provides a welcome view of the morning sky and an awesome view of grandfather mountain."

"I stayed here a couple weeks ago with my mom and my 3 min pins. It was the perfect place for us. We wanted a place to relax with occasional site seeing. This place was perfect. The location is great, the price is right, the space is large and the hot tub rules! It's an apartment on the first floor of a beautiful property. The Crumbs, who own and live upstairs, are the nicest people... and we almost never saw them. Plenty of privacy. They have 2 mellow friendly dogs that I only actually saw once in 4 days and I was out walking my dogs around the property every day. Sometimes we heard them or the dogs walking around upstairs but no big deal there. I'd recommend this place for sure! We will be back."

"We stayed at this mountain retreat during a freak wind/snow storm where the temperatures dropped into single digits. The furnace was not working properly, but the prompt attention that was given by the owner when she was notified is to be commended!!! She was a pleasure to work with and was very concerned about our comfort. I would highly recommend this property to anyone simply because I know if anything needs attention, it will be given with speed and concern for the renters comfort!"

"My fiance and I have enjoyed visiting Asheville for a few years, and when he proposed we thought it would be magical to host our wedding in the mountains during fall. When we started looking however, prices for venues in the area were extremely expensive and required that you use the venue's alcohol, caterer, florist, etc. We wanted a small wedding that we could curate ourselves (under 50 people), so we started looking for larger homes to host our post-ceremony activities. This house in Mountain Air was perfect.
The home was large enough to hold more than 50 people, and was set in the most magical retreat. The leaves in fall were absolutely stunning and the views over the mountains provided the perfect backdrop for numerous wedding photos. The Marhowe's were extremely helpful and kind. The house was cozy and comfortable. Everyone gushed about how beautiful it was. Whether you are planning an event or hoping for a quiet weekend not to far from Asheville, I highly recommend you stay here."
