"This was a girl's golf weekend and I couldn't ask for a more convenient place to stay. Right around the corner from Boone Golf Club, a nice Ellis Maples layout, then we played Hound Ears which was beautiful, also an easy ride away. One day was a little rainy but the place is plenty big and we all have to be connected so it was nice that the wifi was excellent. Also, with HULU and Netflix, plenty to keep us interested on a rainy day. The owners were easy to work with so, all together a wonderful fall weekend in the mountains."

"My husband, son, two dogs and I stayed with Sally and Joe for two weeks. The cabin was perfect for our needs-- Well equipped, cozy, and most importantly, no musty cabin smell! We also spent a lot of time on their property, sampling some yummy organic fruits and vegetables, hiking the loop, swimming/exploring the creek. One evening, we hiked through the forest to the glamping site to enjoy a meteor shower with Joe and Sally and the occupants of the other cabin (wow! what an experience!). What else could we want? Another afternoon Joe took us to a neighbor's house (on the Polaris, which my 11 year old son loved!) to see a library that they built on their property (breathtaking). The cabin is about a 15-20 min drive to West Jefferson, which we really enjoyed exploring. There's a great coffee shop, fun shops, galleries (we did a painting class at Frenchie's). We also went to the New River State Park and did a kayaking tour from the General Store nearby. Grayson Highlands was wonderful too (went twice)--on both visits we were fortunate to see a mother pony and her baby. Great hiking, incredible scenery, wild blueberries--definitely worth a visit. Also, per Joe's suggestion, we did the Virginia Creeper trail which is a downhill, 17 mile bike trail that runs on an old railroad line. Fun!
My family and I have stayed in many cabins all over NC. This was by far our favorite! Great hosts, great location, great accommodations--its got it all! We'll be back! Thank you for everything!!"

"My family and I stayed at this lovely house Sept 16- Sept 20. We did not want to leave. The house is just as advertised. The views of the mountain's were to die for. I really enjoyed the convenience of the one step to deck, this made it very easy for my elderly parents to join us on the deck to enjoy our meals.
Also Nancy was awesome to work with and eager to help with suggestions on places to eat and other activities. We will defiantly stay here again."
