  • Great home!

"This is a fabulous home in a great location. We took a family vacation for my father's birthday and this was a perfect place for us. It slept us 5 comfortably; would have been great for 2 children in the bunk beds as well. We loved the ping pong table! Huge TV with great picture, if you want to sit inside. We utilized the beach cruisers, about a mile to the main street in Beaufort, Front St, for dinner and drinks. We loved Front Street Grille - back porch with a great view and laid back bar atmosphere with TVs for football. The homes front porch was inviting with a porch swing and many adirondack chairs. No real water view unless you go to the top deck. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the widow's walk/sun bathing roof deck, but it looked nice. Drive to Atlantic Beach for the actual beach was about 10-15 minutes. Comfortable beds, cold a/c, well equipped with coffee maker, microwave, kitchen appliances, etc. There wasn't anything we could think of to add to the house. Would book again. Thanks again."

  • Beautiful property, even better hospitality!

"From the booking of our trip, to the flexibility of the owners, the beauty of the property, and the sweet hospitality during our stay, we could not have asked for a better anniversary place! The owners spent time talking with us face to face about things to do around Beaufort, and we really enjoyed just getting to know them a little. They definitely do everything they can to make you feel at home, feel welcomed, and that they're available if you need anything. We parked the car when we arrived and did not drive it again until we left to come home- everything is within walking distance, and if you venture further than you'd like to walk, the bike rides are a blast! We will definitely be back for more anniversary celebrations, as well as some trips with the kids as well! We are very thankful to have found this place, AND THESE PEOPLE, because, really, their kindness and hospitality made the trip even better!"

  • Amazing stay, amazing house, and amazing hosts.

"What really sets this house apart is the mini-farm on the property with 2 donkeys, a mini-horse, a goat, chickens and a rooster. It was like a petting zoo. My kids loved being able to feed and interact with the animals. Off course, if you want nothing to do with the animals and just enjoy the home, that is just as well. The home is decorated so well. It is truly relaxing. The deck is great; we had a meal or two out there watching the sunset. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. It truly was a wonderful experience. Proper Beaufort is close by and provided us ample things to do to include restaurants and excursions. The home is big enough to host at least 2-3 families with kids in tow. I only wish I could call this place home."

  • Highly Recommended

"I would highly recommend this place for those who are looking for something peaceful and relaxing that is off the main thoroughfare but very close to lots of entertainment and village shopping. This place is tucked away off the main streets of Beaufort in a quaint, quiet little neighborhood, however, it is only 2 blocks from the main waterfront of Beaufort where one can find find excellent restaurants, small village shoppes, museums, and an assortment of bars with local musicians to entertain the guests. We took a beautiful sunset stroll down to the waterfront one evening for dining and drinks on the water. The weather is perfect in the fall and you can park the car and enjoy the outdoors with walks to everywhere you need to go."
