  • A little piece of paradise!

"My family usually gets together every year on Cape Hatteras, but this year we decided to try something a little different and stay a little more inland. This house popped up during a search and looked very interesting to us. We had never rented using VRBO before so we weren't exactly sure how things would go, but decided to give it a chance. I contacted the owners about the arrangements and after a couple of conversations with Pam I knew that there was nothing to be concerned about. She was extremely friendly and willing to go above and beyond to accommodate us and provide anything she could to make our stay more enjoyable. The house was very clean, had all the necessities you would ever need and came with some "extras" that you wouldn't normally expect. We really felt at home staying here! There was plenty of entertainment at the house with the animals, kayaking, clamming, etc., but if you wanted to venture out you could be in Beaufort or Morehead City in just a few minutes. Pam and John were warm and welcoming and it was a pleasure to meet them. Even though the weather wasn't the greatest while we were there it was still a successful vacation for everyone thanks to their hospitality. You can't go wrong with this place!!"

  • Great home!

"This is a fabulous home in a great location. We took a family vacation for my father's birthday and this was a perfect place for us. It slept us 5 comfortably; would have been great for 2 children in the bunk beds as well. We loved the ping pong table! Huge TV with great picture, if you want to sit inside. We utilized the beach cruisers, about a mile to the main street in Beaufort, Front St, for dinner and drinks. We loved Front Street Grille - back porch with a great view and laid back bar atmosphere with TVs for football. The homes front porch was inviting with a porch swing and many adirondack chairs. No real water view unless you go to the top deck. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the widow's walk/sun bathing roof deck, but it looked nice. Drive to Atlantic Beach for the actual beach was about 10-15 minutes. Comfortable beds, cold a/c, well equipped with coffee maker, microwave, kitchen appliances, etc. There wasn't anything we could think of to add to the house. Would book again. Thanks again."

  • Ann Street, Beaufort, Outstanding area to visit!

"Owner recommended a couple restaurants, his first was a fantastic choice. Canoe and Kayak provided excellent access to Islands. House was well equipped with top notch appliances. I am 58 and this is the BEST vacation home in which I have stayed. Neighborhood very nice and friendly. Whole family wants to go back!"
