"Thank you for a wonderful week in Emerald Isle! Our two families enjoyed your beach home very much. We found it clean, well-equipped and spacious. The washer and dryer were fantastic and the new refrigerator was wonderful. We had a shrimp and crab boil in the big pot you provided and that dinner was a huge favorite with everyone! We had many family game nights around the big dining table. The walk to the beach was effortless and the rocking chairs were enjoyed by all! My youngest son thought your collection of boogie boards was amazing…he picked his favorite and rode it all week!"Guest: Diane Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 3, 2014View listing
"We truly enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was like new, clean, cool, spacious and beautifully decorated. Wonderful kitchen with everything you need. High ceilings, large windows and beautiful view. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The price was great compared to all other rentals I was looking at. We were pleased when we arrived and found the unit just as the beautiful pictures showed. It was a short walk to the sound side pool and to the pier where we did some crabbing with our two young sons. We caught so many crabs we filled our beach bucket in no time. The owner was very helpful throughout the rental process and responsive to any questions we had. In fact his advice helped us catch all those crabs! There was always something to do. There’s a wonderful Aquarium nearby. You can also rent kayaks, paddle boards and jet skis just down the road. Cycle along the main, wide road or down the bike path in Emerald Isle. The kids also really enjoyed the Lost Treasure Golf & Raceway right up the road and MacDaddy’s down in Cape Carteret where they had bowling, pool tables, arcade games, bumper boats, go-karts and batting cages. The beach was fantastic. Sparsely populated. Perfect water temperature. There is a shuttle you can call but we just loaded our things in the car and drove the short drive across to the beach side. If you have a lot of stuff, chairs, umbrella, like we did and you have a beach cart you could easily walk over. But we had no problem parking and unloading our stuff by the nice, boarded path that goes over the dunes. The beach side pool, also a perfect temperature, was great after a long day at the beach with lots of palm trees and umbrellas if you wanted to get out of the sun. It was nice to then retreat back to the very quiet, peaceful sound side in the evening. We spent the last day in the beautiful town of Beaufort with lots of waterfront shops and restaurants. We had dinner at a fabulous restaurant called Old Salt. The food was so fresh and delicious and the owner was super friendly and hospitable. It was a very memorable, enjoyable family vacation. I would highly recommend this condo."Guest: Nick & Laura Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 9, 2014View listing
"Recently got back from the beach and this place was amazing. It was within a short driving distance from anywhere we were wanting to go. The condo is right on the beach. Not at all much of a walking distance to experience the beautiful ocean! The home is extremely clean and well taken care of! This place is amazing!!!! Very easy owners to work with also. I definitely want to go back here! Thank you for the wonderful experience!"Guest: Adda Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 18, 2014View listing
Emerald Isle Travel Tips
Enjoy Emerald Isle Vacation Rentals
On the Atlantic coast of North Carolina, one of the most beautiful states in the east, you will find the small town of Emerald Isle. Emerald Isle is primarily a beach resort town just south of the larger Morehead City. During the summer, Emerald Isle vacation rentals are in high demand ranging from Emerald Isle condos to houses situated right on the sandy beaches. If you are planning your stay in these gorgeous North Carolina beach rentals, plan to arrive via Route 58 as that is the only way into town.
Getting around Emerald Isle Condos
Once you arrive at any of the great North Carolina beach rentals, you will quickly ditch the car and head for the hills on your bike or by foot. In fact, most Emerald Isle vacation rentals are within very close proximity to the many new bike paths that were implemented between 2006 and 2007. Because the scenery is so beautiful in this sleepy beach town, you will not mind renting a bike for everyone in the family or simply taking a walk to reach your destination.
What to Look for near North Carolina Beach Rentals
Obviously, when you book Emerald Isle condos, you will see plenty of the beach. But what else can you catch a glimpse of? Look up toward the sky for a peek at military jets soaring high above as they practice routine drills. If your North Carolina beach rentals are near the west side, head out to “The Point” during either high or low tide. The view is spectacular; beware of the water’s current as it is very strong.
Exciting Emerald Isle Vacation Rentals
If you are the type of person who loves to plan your own vacation without the hassle of dealing with organized tours, booking your own Emerald Isle condos is a great way to go. Staying in just about any of the Emerald Isle vacation rentals, you will find that there is plenty to do, and you will not need to spend days booking a tour. You can go deep-sea diving, deep-sea fishing, skim boarding, kayaking, shopping, and so much more. The possibilities are endless, so what are you waiting for?
