  • Great home away from home

"I had a wonderful experience on my vacation. Tar Landing is a great private community where relaxation is easy to come by. The condo is exactly as pictured. Very spacious and nicely decorated. It was also found to be very clean. Louise was excellent to work with and was very accommodating as I planned my trip at the last minute. I have never worked with an owner or rental company for that matter that was as helpful. I would rent this property over and over again."

  • Delightful home, great view and accommodations

"We have rented many beach homes over the years, experiencing in the past accommodations that didn't live up to their pictures or descriptions. When we arrived here we were pleasantly surprised and the updated accommodations. The warm flooring was easy to sweep clean, even with six young children running around, dragging sand in. The decks were great for meals outside and a view of the stars and surf at night. We had read in prior reviews that the home's furnishings weren't in good shape, but we arrived to find a completely renovated home with new furniture. The children especially loved the televisions in each of their rooms. Thanks for a great vacation, Xanadu!"

  • Beach Music Festival

"We had a great time in Atlantic Beach (as always)! And this place made it even better. Close to the beach and within walking distance to the festival! Plenty of room - even with 3 teenagers. Lots of beach chairs on site, which saved us on having to pack so much, and an outside shower. We will definitely be repeat customers :)"

  • Amazing getaway at an affordable price!

"This year was my 2nd year staying at the cottage. Trust me when I tell you that the pictures do not do it justice! This place gives you the ability to stay within a short 5 minute walk to the beach, a minute or so to the bay and also gives you the "in the woods" secluded feeling of being in the mountains. If you want to go somewhere that is peaceful where you can relax all day in the shade on a screened in porch or even if you want to be within a few steps of getting your feet in the sand here it is! I can not say enough good things about the renter Dennis either. We had trouble with our fridge not getting cold on the first day and before we knew it we were getting a new fridge and stove! It was refreshing knowing that all of our food wasn't going to just go to waste and was also great knowing that we were being taken care of promptly. I encourage anyone who is thinking about staying here to stop thinking and just book the trip. You wont regret it and E.I. is gorgeous! Can't wait to stay again."
