"Jennifer, Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful place. The girls and I had a great time and being so close to the beach was awesome. Everything was clean and very accommodating. The girls loved the pool everyday and everyone was so friendly. I would recommend your place to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing beach retreat. We will be staying again and thank you again for everything."

"A great beachfront facility with easy access to beach. Complimented by a large pool. Large bedrooms that are well accommodated. Game tables make it a great place for children and teens. An excellent large family vacation facility."

"I rented both Journeys End and Call My Bluff (quaint honeymoon type nautical home next door) at the same time to have full private use of pier and to accommodate family. This was a trip to regroup after several things happening in our family the past year. It was 7 days of peace, bliss, solitude, reminiscing, sleeping in (very comfy beds), special time with loved ones, learning to crab, fishing with my dad, late night picnics with my husband, and sitting on the pier late at night gazing at stars for miles! One home is shabby chic and charming which is totally my style while the other is adorably decorated in nautical. Teens will love it! As will adults!! Very convenient to grocery and oriental for eating out and Nancy has everything you need to stay in and eat, watch movies etc. the only thing the place needs is more of us:) can't wait to go back! We rent from vrbo 4-5 times per year and Nancy was hands down the nicest person we have ever worked with!"

"First the negative... the house could use some cosmetic updates like new paint and linoleum in the main upstairs bathroom, a few interior doors don't latch like they should or close completely. The downstairs room had somewhat of a smokey odor.
I still give this house 5 stars, so for the Good...
the view is amazing. the windows in the main room are perfect for this view.
the deck is awesome and actually useful unlike other decks at houses i've rented on EI. We used it A LOT for eating and hanging out. And for the first time i didn't have to worry about my kids (2 and 4) falling off the deck (no low rail, not extremely high, slats are properly spaced). The only thing I would add to the deck is a short water hose at the shower/hose on the decks walkway (to make it easier to hose off fishing gear and sand toys) and a 2nd umbrella or retractable awning.
the kitchen was nice and had everything we needed. Probably time for a new dishwasher though -- although it does work.
The layout of the house is very nice. All but one room have their own bathroom and the upstairs gives enough room for people to have their own space but also room for everyone to gather and hangout.
Not part of the house, but there is a walkway to the beach with no steps, just beside the house (nice for the older folks and bikes).
A gate at the to of the stairs would by nice for the young kids (bring a wide one if you have a small child). I only worried about him getting up at night and forgetting the stairs were there so we folded the crib and stuck it in front of stairs at night.
I usually try a new house with every trip to EI not because the last house was bad but because I like the change, but this is one I'd actually rent again."
