  • Convenient location

"Clean and nicely furnished. The pictures are very accurate. A small problem upon check-in - the lockbox code did not work - but the owner quickly responded to the problem and gave us the new code. Small efficiency but sufficient for a weekend or two people for a week."

  • fabulous spot near Atlantic Beach

"plenty of rooms/beds, fabulous deck and stairways, even has a shuffleboard court (had to explain to the kids what that was), pool table, albeit kind of small. lots of privacy. The liv room has a great sound system. Large new gas grill for BBQ, oyster roasting, gas log in the fireplace. the owners are local and helped out with any questions we had. 4 bathrooms, lots of room to spread out. We will be back!"

  • Great Private Retreat, Wide Open Spaces, Beautiful Views

"Our family stayed at this property for over 7 weeks during summer 2014. Had a wonderful time! We needed space for our boats, yard for our dog, room for kids to sleep comfortably, and a place close to water. This fit the bill nicely. The views of sound are incredible, and the hummingbirds are fun to watch in the mornings. Jerry was a great host and cared about our stay. The property is a little off the beaten path, but we liked it that way. We had a 30 minute ride to Beaufort Inlet to launch our big boat and a boat ramp on the property to launch small fishing boat. The crabbing is outstanding. In the spirit of full disclosure, there are 2 things folks need to know: the property manager resides on a private ground floor. She was a wonderful person to get to know and we hardly noticed her there. She is a marine and maintains the property duties like mowing, trash collection, etc. The second item is internet - it is a cellular device that provides limited service. We were a bit surprised by the wireless limitations, but our situation was unique in that my wife and I worked from there for 7 weeks. So Jerry was flexible and made accommodations that were satisfactory for our stay. If you have heavy wireless/data needs, please talk though this with Jerry. Overall, we had the best summer of our lives staying at this river house. We relaxed, we fished, and we worked - all while our kids and dog had plenty of space to roam/explore. We even decided to make a property purchase at Atlantic Beach b/c of this summer trip. Jerry - thanks for everything!!"

  • Incredibly Comfortable!

"This rental was nicer than we could have ever imagined. The house was so spacious, everyone had their own area for getting ready while the living room/ kitchen allowed everyone to hang out together. The owner was incredibly helpful and responded to texts about the property promptly. The house is close to the beach and pier. It is on a quiet street with no traffic. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We felt like we were at home- but everything was nicer and beachier! We would love to stay again and would highly recommend this condo to everyone!"
