  • Ocean front getaway!

"Great ocean front property with easy access to the beach. This condo is set up perfectly for a group of friends / family wanting to get away and relax."

  • Very nice spot

"Owners go the extra mile to make guests welcome. Peaceful neighborhood with nice neighbors. The 3 bedrooms all have some separation from others, each with it's own mini living room making ideal for 3 couples. Boat ramp in neighborhood with dock in backyard. We went fishing in Morehead area and grilled burgers on Shackleford Banks. Only negative was that it is a pretty long boat ride up Bogue Sound, about 40 minutes.....not bad if calm but it was windy making a rough ride. But over all this place is exceptional with the peacefulness and quiet. It is close to everything, 15 minutes or so by car. Owners take excellent care and keep it really clean with nice decor. Great weekend at Surrey with best friends as well as son and his wife."

  • Great house -ocean front

"Great stay with beautiful ocean view, privacy (no house to the right) and right on the beach. Owners continue to upgrade (new leather furniture) newly painted master bedroom- not the pink in photo, new dishwasher, washer dryer etc. So nice to have a place with comfortable living room furniture looking out at the ocean. Truly enjoyed our stay. The house has lots of room and large kitchen. It is walking distance to a couple restaurants. Miles of beach to walk!"

New Bern Travel Tips

Live in Luxury in New Bern Vacation Rentals

New Bern vacation rentals allow you and your loved ones to live in luxury. No more cramping into tiny hotel rooms for you! Enjoy the surrounding beauty and charm of New Bern by visiting great attractions like Tryon Palace Historic Sites and Gardens to take-in the gorgeous colonial capitol. Consisting of 3 homes and 13 gardens that remain in their period, the Tryon Palace and surrounding sites are a treat for history buffs and those who enjoy lovely architecture. Costumed guides offer visitors a look back in time, at the lives of the colonial hoipolloi.

Get to Know Your Neighbors from New Bern Vacation Homes

Staying in New Bern vacation homes allows you to live like a local, and get to know the neighbors. Invite them along with your family when you visit Tarheel Adventures. The tour will explain the second oldest town in all of North Carolina, New Bern, and show visitors the birthplace of the world famous Pepsi Cola. Other sights that are shown on the tour include the scenic and expansive waterfront area, Union Point, and of course the yacht marina. For a tranquil excursion, visit Island Creek Trail for a brush with nature that will stun you, and have you snapping photos as quickly as possible! The hike will wear you out, but you will still want to visit the local fish fry that happens frequently all summer throughout the coastal towns of North Carolina.

North Carolina Coast Lodging is Affordable and Charming

Both affordable and charming, North Carolina Coast lodging is the best choice if you want to save money and experience a different way of life. Experience the slower pace of the locals and the charming off-road diners and cafes of the coast. Your family will remember North Carolina fondly forever if you choose to stay there this year, and you will want to visit, again and again.
