  • Perfect Beach Vacation!

"I was at Beach Retreat West for 3 days alone and it was just perfect. I woke up every morning to a view of the ocean and spent many hours relaxing on both decks facing the ocean. Since the ocean is just across the street, I was able to set up at the beach and return to the house at anytime without loading all of my things back up. Several friends joined me on the 4th day and there was plenty of room for everyone. We did not want to leave at the end of the week! We had such a good time and enjoyed Beach Retreat West so much that we are planning to make this an annual trip! Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

  • Great week for the entire family!

"We had a great week at this condo. It was clean, and a great location. We had our toddler grandson, and the location was perfect. It was a short walk to pools and the beach. The condo is so light and open. And the tile floors were so easy to clean. The ocean view from the living room window was so relaxing. Hoping we are able to stay here again."

  • Relaxing beach trip in quiet neighborhood

"We really enjoyed our stay at this beach house. The porches were great for our dogs and we enjoyed either sitting out there or we ate some of our meals out there. It was close to the beach as my husband is a fisherman. The house was comfortable and neat and clean. The beds were nice as some houses don't have this. It was a quiet neighborhood. There wasn't a lot of traffic so you could take a walk on the back streets if you like to get some exercise. Emerald Isle is a great beach and there is shopping close by. You can go over to Swansboro as they have a few nice shops. We went to Beaufort one day. They have the maritime museum which is great and an historic cemetery which was interesting as well as boat tours and gift shops. If you are looking for good pizza, Michaelangelo's is great. I would recommend this rental as a great vacation rental."

"We enjoyed our vacation at Emerald Isle, NC. The Sailfish is a large and comfortable house for anyone with a large family and is children friendly. We enjoyed many things about the house and especially the privacy."

New Bern Travel Tips

Live in Luxury in New Bern Vacation Rentals

New Bern vacation rentals allow you and your loved ones to live in luxury. No more cramping into tiny hotel rooms for you! Enjoy the surrounding beauty and charm of New Bern by visiting great attractions like Tryon Palace Historic Sites and Gardens to take-in the gorgeous colonial capitol. Consisting of 3 homes and 13 gardens that remain in their period, the Tryon Palace and surrounding sites are a treat for history buffs and those who enjoy lovely architecture. Costumed guides offer visitors a look back in time, at the lives of the colonial hoipolloi.

Get to Know Your Neighbors from New Bern Vacation Homes

Staying in New Bern vacation homes allows you to live like a local, and get to know the neighbors. Invite them along with your family when you visit Tarheel Adventures. The tour will explain the second oldest town in all of North Carolina, New Bern, and show visitors the birthplace of the world famous Pepsi Cola. Other sights that are shown on the tour include the scenic and expansive waterfront area, Union Point, and of course the yacht marina. For a tranquil excursion, visit Island Creek Trail for a brush with nature that will stun you, and have you snapping photos as quickly as possible! The hike will wear you out, but you will still want to visit the local fish fry that happens frequently all summer throughout the coastal towns of North Carolina.

North Carolina Coast Lodging is Affordable and Charming

Both affordable and charming, North Carolina Coast lodging is the best choice if you want to save money and experience a different way of life. Experience the slower pace of the locals and the charming off-road diners and cafes of the coast. Your family will remember North Carolina fondly forever if you choose to stay there this year, and you will want to visit, again and again.
