"Our family vacation was a great time thanks to Eve and her wonderful home. Our children and grandson met us in N.C. for a week of fun on the beach. Eve is so great to work with she is very quick to respond to questions and extremely helpful to any of your needs. Thanks Eve hope we can gather everyone together next year for another relaxing and enjoyable week."

  • A perfect getaway

"I loved it. I rented the second floor of the house, with the view of the ocean from the living room and the kitchen. Actually, I think the pictures on the site do not do justice of how peaceful and beautiful the place is. I also believe there is a great energy. My dog and I walked the beach (it is a small stretch) and in the fields behind the house. There was a rainbow on the first day we got there. Every morning and evening we also watched fish jumping out of the water (hunting, I assume). Kayaking was nice too."

  • Heaven!

"We just had our second stay at Sunkissed and this visit was every bit as wonderful as the first. Spacious, beautiful house, EASY walk to beautiful beach (LOVE the cart!). We have rented homes on VRBO all over the country, and my husband said this was the best house out of all of them! Our hints for a great stay in Emerald Isle include: ~ Don't shop at Food Lion on Saturday, too busy and prices are increased on that day. Go over the bridge and turn left to go to Piggly Wiggly just down the road! ~ Sweet Spot has great ice cream and if you want you can get a single scoop that is split so you can try two flavors, saves cash and heartache! LOL! ~ Jordan's has fantastic food and good prices, the softshell crab is a treat! ~ Bogue Inlet pier is a a great place to see dolphins, jellyfish, bull sharks, etc. For $10 you can get a pass to fish for the day, rent a rod and bait and have fun! This ended up being one of our favorite days! ~ Fort Macon is an interesting place to visit, check the website to find out when they have cannon and musket demonstrations. ~ Rucker John's has an hour wait for a table usually, but well worth it! The food was delicious. You can't go wrong renting this house! Clean, comfortable, and very, very spacious. Enjoy!!!"

  • Delightful home, great view and accommodations

"We have rented many beach homes over the years, experiencing in the past accommodations that didn't live up to their pictures or descriptions. When we arrived here we were pleasantly surprised and the updated accommodations. The warm flooring was easy to sweep clean, even with six young children running around, dragging sand in. The decks were great for meals outside and a view of the stars and surf at night. We had read in prior reviews that the home's furnishings weren't in good shape, but we arrived to find a completely renovated home with new furniture. The children especially loved the televisions in each of their rooms. Thanks for a great vacation, Xanadu!"
