  • Great Stay. Great Location.

"My daughter's family and I stayed here for three weeks in March. She was visiting from Florida and I will take any excuse to get to the beach. The layout of the unit was great. The view spectacular. The location made it easy to walk or ride bikes to shops and around Emerald Isle. The bedroom setup was such that my daughter and her family had one floor for sleeping and I had another. The unit was clean and in good repair. Austin and Margaret were wonderful to work with. Thank you both for sharing your home. Now, if I could just get a few more friends to visit to justify another beach stay!!"

  • The Perfect Vacation Home

"We spent Spring Break at Windoon and it was absolutely wonderful! Such a beautiful beach house. The amenities in this home are very well thought out. Spacious bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, and the living area is one great room so you can enjoy each others company. My family of 11 had plenty of space. The view from all the beautiful windows was spectacular with the beach just steps away. We spent many hours enjoying the sand and waves. This is a wonderful beach property with an owner who is an absolute pleasure to work with."

  • No Wake Zone- a MUST vacation for a GREAT time!

"No Wake Zone was an absolute wonderful vacation for my family and I. We could have not asked for a more beautiful view with so many adventures close by! The house was well taken care of with a well stocked kitchen allowing us to cook a delicious meal every night. It was an absolute pleasure seeing the dolphins every morning, going on walks on the beach and the tranquility was to die for. Every night the windows were kept open to enjoy the ocean sounds and incredible sunrises. There are plenty of activities near by and if you have a car, there are cute little towns that are an easy commute for you to visit. New Years Eve we had the pleasure of staying at home and being able to perfectly see the fireworks shooting off from the pier- it was awesome! Jackie was a pleasure to work with and very sweet! I HIGHLY recommend this place for a fabulous get away for all ages!"

  • Great house and location!

"We spent spring break at this lovely house on the beach with great views--including dolphins. We were four adults and two children, so we even had a bedroom to spare. Both couples could have a master bedroom. The lay-out is nice; the kitchen was well supplied; the beds were comfortable, and the chairs for the beach and deck were plentiful. The beach is lovely and not crowded at all by the house. We could get fairly quickly to stores and towns, going either direction. We visited the Aquarium and Ft. Macon--both were great, especially Ft. Macon since it is free and the kids can run around easily. There were some gems in the restaurant category in Beaufort (pronounced "Bo-fort" as we were schooled), where we also went on a fun ghost tour walk led by a "pirate" who doubles as a school teacher during the day. Also went to Swansboro and had some good meals there. The Dollar General was within walking distance for quick supplies. We were fortunate that the other side of the duplex was not rented when we were there. This was our first time in Emerald Isle, so for people new to this location, you need to know that most of the houses on the ocean are duplexes. The owner was very easy to deal with and prompt when responding to emails. The price for a week in the spring was terrific. I'd highly recommend this rental house."
