"This was a beautiful home that we were able to fit our entire family in. We have not been to the OBX For 20 years. Maurice was so easy to deal with, and responded to all of my inquiries, almost immediately. I recommend his beautiful home. It was very clean when we went in. The beach looked further than it really is. Not bad at all. We cooked in every night and hung by the pool or on the deck.we used the front yard to throw the frisbee with the kids. OBX has definitely changed in the last 20 years, the way it has been built up. We took our kids to Grave Digger (my son's favorite part of the trip) some went to the Lost Colony, and some to the Aquarium. Thank you and your family for opening your home to us and making things so easy. Hopefully,it won't take another 20 years for us to come back."

"The unit is very nice -- much more spacious than I was expecting -- and very well equipped. Everything was in good order, and the kitchen and bathrooms were nice and clean (not always the case with beach rentals). It was a most pleasant setting for our week at the beach. We LOVED the dock -- spent a lot of beautiful morning and evening hours sitting at the far end. So tranquil.
> Many thanks, Tanya"

"Our group comes yearly for the OBX Marathon and a few days of relaxation. This house was great! It was comfortable and had plenty of room for the seven adults and one baby in our group. We had everything we needed to cook and the central location was very convenient when we decided to eat out. The porch and view is as beautiful as the pictures showed. The bedroom downstairs had a twin and private bath. The master upstairs with the King bed and private bath was great. The other two bedrooms upstairs shared the hall bath. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay there again."

"The house and surroundings were even more beautiful and spacious than the pictures. There was a view from every window of the ocean or the sound. We enjoyed kayaking in the sound- it was perfect for beginners since the water is very shallow and clear. We used the crab cage to catch dinner one night. A handicapped-accessible beach entrance, complete with warm showers, was a short walk up the road and very family-friendly. Beach toys and boogies boards made it fun to play and surf the waves. The ocean was very warm even though it was early June. The house was very clean, pretty and well-organized, and everything was comfortably set up for a large family stay. A writer's roost at the top of the house with desk, chair and windows was an added bonus. Being right next to the sound means you should bring bug spray for mosquitoes in the evening. We enjoyed taking the free car ferry to Ocracoke and exploring Hatteras shops as well. Avoid the small grocery stores - stick to the Food Lion for a much better price and selection. A visit to the Orange Blossom is a must- try the "Apple Ugly", their famous fresh baked apple fritters the size of your head. The Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum was also a fun place to explore. This was one of the most well-maintained and well-thought out vacation houses we've ever rented."
