Our Villa vacation at Corolla Light was outstanding!
"The Outer Banks has been a family tradition for many years. Corolla Light is loaded with those extras like convenience to the beach and pool area and even a fitness center for those days that are not so sunny. This Villa fit the bill for us! Beautifully decorated, clean, and even those beach extras like chairs and boogie boards were readily available. We enjoyed the bikes, as well. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. Loved the deck and the ocean breezes! Definitely a winner!! The owners were wonderful to us!"

"Wish You Were Here, is a great place. This is the second time we stayed here and after the first visit we were very happy that we no longer needed to spend time shopping for a house because we found the perfect place for us.
The Whalehead locating is excellent. Even when every house if filled there is still plenty of room on the beach. You are close to very good shopping and restaurants so you do not need to waste time traveling.
I have rented many times on the web ad this house is the most well equipped. There is enough cooking and serving ware to feed a large group and all of the appliances are very good and work great. House is well furnished and spotless when you arrive. Nik (property manager) is a good guy and easy to get a hold of (even though we only need him to get entrance to the property).
Pool and hot tub are a great addition and very welcome if you do not feel like going to the beach.
Owner is also very nice and great to deal with.
You will not go wrong renting this property. I look forward to returning next year."

"We had such a fantastic vacation over Labor Day. I searched for 3 months before finding this house. We only wanted to stay for the long weekend and every other house required a full week and wouldn't let us know if we could have it until a week before the trip. I couldn't rely on that. Sharon was awesome getting us booked and letting us know exactly what we needed to bring. We had 7 couples and two babies stay. We're in a bible study group and we're together each week, but this was our first time on a trip together. It really was the best weekend ever! The girls enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and sitting in the hottub at night. The guys were in the game room a lot, playing pool and ping pong. We all enjoyed the pool and great deal and spent days at the beach. The rooms were great and everyone had their own space. I'm a book nerd and I was able to read my book in little nooks throughout the house while still feeling part of the group. I especially enjoyed the large table in the kitchen where we could all eat together for each meal. It was a great weekend! We're already planning how we can get back!"

"We just returned from spending Labor Day week in your lovely home. It is an oasis of comfort and accommodation. It is decorated so beautifully. The kitchen is well stocked with everything one could possibly need and it was easy to see that a large group of 12 could easily have a meal together. The master bedroom bed and linens were so comfortable my husband, who typically is an early riser, spent many mornings lingering in bed because he was so comfortable. I love the atmosphere of your home - it was beautiful, inviting, cozy, and warm. I appreciated the special touches, i.e., the framed cross-stitched lighthouse, the happy reminders of what a beach vacation is all about in the wall hangings, the lighthouse stools in the kitchen, and the adorable bedroom with the painted furniture. Sitting in the swinging chair or laying on the hammock became a daily activity after a day on the beach.
This was our first time visiting the OBX and it was delightful. This home is located within short walking distance to a private, community beach. The owners have provided enough beach chairs for a large family, beach toys for children, and a beach wagon to assist in carrying whatever necessary to the beach. What a wonderful surprise to see that dogs are permitted on the beach. We are not dog owners but did enjoy watching them have fun in the ocean. Permitting dogs on the beach enhanced the family atmosphere of OBX.
There are local shops, a grocery store and restaurants only a mile or so away. Recommend calling restaurants for reservations. Restaurants we enjoyed; Agave Roja (modern Mexican) excellent food and service, Buddhalicious (Thai inspired) Zen atmosphere with delicious food, Lighthouse Bagels (NOT your dense grocery store bagel - how do they make them so light and fabulously delicious?), and The Paper Canoe in Duck (poetry on a plate - exquisite food beautifully presented).
Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We plan to return to the Lark Inn for our next OBX visit."
