  • Relaxing summer fun place for the whole family.

"We have rented this house for two years in a row, and can't wait to return again. The house is very clean and well maintained. There is loads to do without even leaving the property, even if it's raining. Between the beach being so close, the pool, the hot tub, the pool table, there is always some way to relax and enjoy the sun. We have stayed in other properties that are old and worn out that does not make for a confortable stay. You can tell the owner of this house treats like it is there own live in home. Nice furnishings, up to date decor and the small things that really make a difference. The only thing I do not like is I HAVE TO LEAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • Twice the fun

"This house was gorgeous inside and had every utensil you could ever want in your kitchen. You can walk to restaurants, ice cream, shops, and the supermarket. The beach is walkable or you can drive your car to a small lot in the development. The owner was so easy to deal with, they even provided a welcome bag and returned our security deposit right away. I would definitely stay here again."

  • Edgewater II

"We just concluded our second stay at Edgewater II. We travelled with 2 families including 4 adults and 6 kids. We found the house to be perfect for all of our needs. The house is very clean and well maintained. Edgewater II is a short walk from the beach which made it very easy to run back and forth throughout the day. We appreciated that the house is fully stocked with lots of beach equipment including chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, etc. The house is also a few blocks from "turtle pond" as our kids named it during our many evening visits. The kids had fun feeding the turtles and watching them swim around the pond. Additionally, the owner is very helpful. She quickly responded when we had questions about the house and the nearby community. During our first stay, the owner provided us with a list of some fun activities to try with the kids. We hope to return to Edgewater II next year for another great family vacation!"

  • Great for couples and families

"Thanks for the elegant yet peaceful stay during our anniversary getaway. We traveled with our dog for the first time and were delighted with the clean fresh accommodations you provided. We enjoyed days on the beach and walks to feed the turtles at the lake every evening. Our dog Jade enjoyed that very much. I would highly recommend this place to families, couples and of course dog lovers looking for a great getaway to the Outer Banks."

Corolla Village Travel Tips

Planning Your Watersports Vacation with Corolla Village Beach House Rentals

If you enjoy water sports such as surfing, kayaking, parasailing, and more, there are limitless opportunities for fun near your Corolla Village beach house rentals. Many people do not realize the options they have for water sports and the classes that are available in the vicinity of their Corolla Village homes. Many of the sports shops in the area give lessons, and in the case of sports such as kayaking, there are also tours available. Within minutes of leaving your Corolla Village beach house rentals you could be down in the ocean, surfing for the first time.

Air and Sea

Kite boarding is a sport that has been gaining popularity in recent years. It has been called a cross between windsurfing, traditional surfing, and wake boarding. Using a kite to pull you, you can skim across the ocean's surface. Kite boarding is generally seen as much easier to learn than traditional surfing. Parasailing above the water is another thrill sport that many find exhilarating. You will generally not get wet while parasailing, but coasting above the ocean is thrill enough for most. While parasailing, you can get up to heights of 1200 feet. From this height, you may even be able to see your Corolla Village homes!

Relax on the Water

There are many boating tours that you can take while staying at your Outer Banks vacation rentals. From an ocean side tour of the towns along the coast to a pontoon trip watching for dolphins, there are options for every group and interest. These tours are generally laid back, relaxing ways to spend some time. See the beauty of the Outer Banks shores and the majesty of the ocean wildlife. When staying in Corolla Village beach house rentals, take the time to enjoy the water activities nearby.
