  • Absolutely Perfect!

"We just finished up our stay at the Chatterbox Too with our two boys and it couldn't have been better! Frank and Linda have a beautiful home, it was so very well taken care of, and, super clean upon our arrival. They provide everything you could possibly need for your time in OBX. From first aid supplies, which we literally needed within the first hour before we unpacked our items (3yr old son cut his toe while coming off the beach) to the awesome wheel Ez making it a simple walk to the beach with numerous beach items, to the garden of tomatoes and basil, etc, they had it all. Our boys loved the decks, the sun room which served as their art room (great thinking with the card table) and the chair swing on the lower deck. We loved the location and the amenities. Right in the heart of Duck, we could walk, bike, etc to ice cream, duck donuts, coffee etc. To top it off, Linda is an OBX expert. From best restaurants to finding the best mozzarella and ciabatta For the panini press, all recommendations came in handy! Also, I threw my back out 1 week prior to arriving, not ideal by any means as we were prepping for a long drive. Linda was able to provide a recommended chiropractor-huge amount appreciation from us! We hope to come back again to "Duck Town" as our boys called it, and to Chatterbox Too!"

  • Fantastic stay at "Wilkom"

"My first trip to OBX and what a great property this is!! Kitchen and baths totally renovated and updated, new carpet throughout home, very roomy with lots of areas to spread out. Kitchen extremely well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. We cooked in every night except one night out at Blue Point restaurant (best she-crab soup and crab cakes!) This home is in a very nice neighborhood. Many decks on the home to enjoy breezes off the ocean or watch wildlife in the adjoining wooded area(we saw a mother and baby deer one morning). Very short walk to nice beach area. Short drive to great shops and restaurants in Duck. Will definitely return to this lovely home!! Also the owners are so very easy to work with!"

  • Great weekend!

"Very nice house, fully equipped. Great location, we enjoyed a magnificent sunset on the sound side. The owner is very nice and easy to work with, she replied immediately to all my questions. There is plenty of wildlife, we saw many deer and a fox from the deck of the house. My son enjoyed fishing on the beach, the rest of us spent more time in the hot tub or on the very long Duck boardwalk. I recommend breakfast at Duck Doughnut (walking distance from the house). We will be back!"
