  • Great Location.

"Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was clean. The property manager was adequately helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great Location. Great Beach. But left something to be desired. The house was in a great location, right between the sound and the ocean, and the layout and amenities worked well for our family. However, we were disappointed with the level of cleanliness (or lack of) on arrival. We expected more for the price point."

  • Great week at Sailaway

"This was our 2nd year renting Sailaway. It's a wonderful location, close to all the shops in Duck and just steps away from the beach. After a miserable winter in the northeast, we had sunny weather and temperatures in the 70's every day. It was wonderful. It was the relaxing week I needed. Cindy is great to work with--waived the pet fee since we were returning guests. The house was really clean on arrival and the pool area was sparkling. I would recommend this house to everyone. Great house. Great location"

  • Amazing OBX Rental

"My family and our friends with their little ones stayed at the Midas Touch in August. This is the first time where the picture did not do the house justice. The house and the living space is larger than it is shown in the picture. The separate living spaces along with the nooks and crannies allow people to gather in one area or hide out and enjoy a little alone time. The second level is divided where 2 queen rooms are on one side of the floor and the kids room and a king room on the other. This allows a little privacy for each family to have its 'own' side. And of course the ensuite for each of the room (4 out of 5) made sharing a bathroom with kids a thing of the past. The beach was less than a 5 minute walk and there is plenty of room on the beach to run around, fly kites and just hang out. And after the beach the outdoor shower is a must to clean off all the sand. When we got tired of the beach, we went to the pool club at Sanderling and enjoyed a fun filled afternoon in the salt water pool. At night when the temperature gets cooler, never fear there is a hot tub. It is just a great way to relax and end the day. All in all this is an amazing rental. However, it is so nice it feels as it's a home away from home rather than a rental! We are already planning our stay for next year!"

  • Great house, great location!

"I wanted to thank you for letting my family enjoy your beautiful house in Duck, NC. We love Ducked Out! The house was PERFECT and literally had anything/everything we could have asked for. The location was perfect, the pool and hot tub were both so relaxing and were enjoyed over and over and over by all of us. There was plenty of space for my family and all my baby nieces! Having two washer/dryer units and 2 dishwashers was the BEST! And we definitely took full advantage of using the golf cart for beach outings. We also enjoyed being so close to the town and walking/running along the boardwalk on the bay-side. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because the pool and perimeter lights kept going out. The pool guy did come by and fix the lights mid week and he explained how they trip if any moisture is encountered. But then they wound up tripping again the last night. It was difficult to see outside in the back without the lights. I would definitely recommend this property and would consider renting again in the future."
