"We absolutely had a wonderful time at this cottage. The weather was a little cool, but the pool was warm. Our grandchildren, children, as well as my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen is one of the best stocked as far as cooking utensils that I have ever seen. The view and access to the ocean couldn't have been better."

"The house is gorgeous - even nicer in person than the pictures on the site. As many have already discussed, the amenities provided are unlike any rental I've been in. The pool is very nice and relaxing, and so are the beds! Nicole and Jeremy are very pleasant, but also ensure you have your private time. We will definitely rent again the next time we are in the Outer Banks."

"I was impressed with most things in the home. Everything worked! The sound system worked, ice-maker, pool table with 'straight' cue sticks etc. The only downside was the area for dog owners. I was hoping to let my pets out in the yard, but there was only pool! The area surrounding the house had lots of 'sand spurs' that the dogs injured themselves on. We had to take them across the street for a 'safe' place to walk. The pet owner cut her stay short. Additionally there were pigeons living in the attic space. The 'critter getter' could not get to them to get them out. This upset my guests. While palmetto bugs live in this type of climate, I did not enjoy seeing them in the house. The two master baths, while beautifully tiled did not stand up to the moisture and both had mold in them. The master on the left needs a new mattress, definitely sagging. All the toilets in the house had mold growing under the rims. (a housekeeping issue). I have stayed in many homes in Nags Head, even with it's problems this was still the cleanest and best functioning! I'm not sure I would stay here again. Miss oceanfront!"

"This was our 2nd time staying at this beautiful home and once again, it did not disappoint. The house is furnished comfortably and very clean. This summer was a bad year for spiders outside, but it was nothing a little sweeping couldn't take care of quickly.
The layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms make this home perfect for families to share. We were 2 families (4 adults, 4 children). Since we were travelling with an almost walking baby, it was much appreciated to have the pack n play and highchair waiting there for us. The home was also easy to baby proof (no need to worry about steps, etc). The older children LOVED riding their bikes (which we brought; adult bikes were already there available for our use) on the large, flat and private driveway. And we all enjoyed use of the kayaks and backyard hammock! Of course, use of the beach umbrellas and chairs were very helpful. As a runner, I greatly appreciated the running/bike path that runs through Duck. Being able to walk into town safely for a delicious dinner & drinks, or even some shopping, is icing on the cake.
But you just can't beat stepping on the large deck to watch amazing sunsets over the sound every night. And at night, the star gazing is beautiful (we were lucky enough to even catch a meteor shower). Most of the time, we forgot there were other homes nearby as this location is very private."
