4th of July Vacation 2015
"We could not have asked for a better 4th of July Week at Kill Devil Hills. We were beyond pleased with the home and how clean it was. Melissa and Jeff have an amazing vacation home and you can tell they put in all the extra touches to make you feel at home while you are away. From the comfortable beds and bedding to the fluffy bath towels, you feel like your staying in a cozy 5 star hotel. Our daughter loved the location (park, sound, distance to beaches). Every item you needed was already in the rental incase you forgot something. What more can you ask for. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your families rental and we look forward to staying again. Above and beyond what was pictured."

"We loved our week at Chillin! The house is pristine, with lots of light -- very roomy. Enough space for everyone (in our case, a family of four) to spread out, or spend time hanging out together. It had everything we needed, down to fun puzzles and games for the kids. The beds are super comfy, and there are two very nice flat screen TVs. The house is on a very quiet street, but very close to the beach (close enough to hear the waves at night). My kids (3 and 8) had so much fun -- we made some really special family memories there. The area under the house was ideal for rainy-day scooter time, and the fenced yard was perfect for frisbee time. The downstairs shower was ideal for post-beach rinse-off, and the gated upstairs deck was lovely for outdoor meals, complete with sea view. The beach was peaceful, not crowded at all even on the hottest days. It's a short drive to all kinds of fun stuff, like the NC Aquarium, Jennette's Pier. A must for us: two nearby cafes that have excellent coffee/espresso, and there's even a wonderful wine and cheese shop. Most of all, we appreciated Hariet, the owner, who responded immediately to my texts when I had any questions, and was very helpful with giving us all the information we needed to make our stay perfect. It's clear that she and her husband have gone to great lengths to make Chillin special. We will be coming back next year!"

"We stayed two wonderful weeks and this house is even better than the pictures! Two different groups from our church over the two weeks and everyone had a great time. Coffee and Sunrise on the decks! We were close to everything but being off season allowed us more beach and running room. We already booked next year.
As a note: if any thing goes wrong it is addressed right away! This is more than a rental house it is a home!!"

"The cottage was much nicer than what I expected. The cottage was more like a visit to a beautiful home then a rental. I rented the top cottage, while my sister and her husband rented the one below. It was so nice having the bank of windows on the Oceanside which allowed beautiful views of the beach and ocean not to mention the calming sounds of the ocean waves. The beach was but a step out the front door which made the visit so exciting. The weather was a little brisk, however it was December. The management made my visit so much more exciting by placing a Happy Birthday sign on the welcome marquee. They truly make me feel welcome every time I visit OBX to stay at these cottages."
