"Perfect location for our first family vacation in 17 years. Our group ranged in age from 15 to 63 and we all loved our week in this location. The house is beautifully furnished and lives up to the photos. The kitchen provided plenty of room for all the family chefs to work together and the dining table accommodated all of us. Pool, hot tub and pool table were welcome alternatives to the uncrowded beach. Beds were very comfortable. Highly recommended!"

"We brought three entire families together for this vacation trip and found your beach home to go up and beyond our expectations. We were amazed at the amount of space, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, game room, TV's, and even an excellent outdoor shower. We truly enjoyed our stay and got to know our two granddaughters from another state better because we were all under one roof. The walk to the beach was not bad unless you came like us bringing everything....coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, sand toys for the little ones. We did learn after awhile that with the heat of the day and walk we could leave some of it behind and chose certain days to take certain items with us. K-Mart and the Food Lion were nice and close and that was convenient. We found the back roads heading towards the sound area to be a great way to get back and forth to the shopping center with the Food Lion thereby eliminating a lot of road traffic. We also enjoyed many of the restaurants nearby including morning breakfast from Jolly Rogers...a favorite of ours from many years ago when we use to visit the OBX. Duck Donuts became a treat too -- though the 45 minute wait the first time was a shocker. We learned you can eat donuts any time of the day....go in the afternoons when they aren't busy! We were also happy to see that Awful Arthurs was still in business....though if you go you need to go early....that place is really busy all the time! All in all we thoroughly enjoyed your beach house. It was perfect for 6 adults, 4 small children and 1 small poodle. Our youngest grandchild, 4 years old, loved the carpeted stairs. This was "his playground". The other three grandchildren enjoyed the living room upstairs and claimed that as their headquarters. The game center became our puzzle area. If we ever decide to come back to the OBX, we'll definitely look at your place again to stay. Thanks for making it so enjoyable and memorable."

"Located in a quite neighborhood and walking distance to the beach, this cottage is exactly as pictured and described. It is clean and well appointed, a comfy place for a little R&R. My personal favorite was the screened in porch with a good book. We would recommend this property to anyone and plan on returning."

"I was looking for a decent priced nice house for spring break, and I got it! The house was amazing!! Nice homey feel, perfect size for my group. Loved the layout and the hot tub! The kids had a blast. The location was great -- close to the beach and stores/restaurants, but not on a main road so didn't have to worry about playing in the yard. The house was clean, well stocked, and the owner was very accommodating and willing to answer any questions. I will definitely look to stay here again in the future!"
